Tuesday morning, President Trump tweeted two words that succinctly describe the winning coalition that will assure his November reelection: “SILENT MAJORITY.” This prompted a considerable amount of fustian mirth from the Twitter mob, a number of ostensibly serious opinion pieces in the corporate media, and contemptuous dismissal by the Democrats. The consensus was that Trump was indulging a Nixonian fantasy whereby white suburbanites frightened by an increasingly diverse electorate would save his presidency. This interpretation betrays profound ignorance about the term “silent majority,” which never had any racial connotation, and disregards what suburban voters really fear — Democratic incompetence in a time of economic uncertainty and social unrest.

People are smart enough to know that the blacks biggest problem is that they keep killing each other. End that and we can stop having this discussion.
I think the Dems will hold off reporting tallies in many areas until they know what they have to do to cheat. Challenges will be made and the courts will be invited to intervene.

It will take a lot of money to campaign in NY, and it is a risky investment.

The very real silent majority will only re-elect Donald J. Trump to a second term if they are in such numbers to overwhelm the massive vote fraud from double-counting mail-in ballots from aliens, other non-citizens, the deceased still carried on the voter rolls, and just plain old ballot shuffling in the back room, throwing away the “undesirable” votes and manufacturing “correct” ballots in their place.
If it is safe enough for people to go to “peaceful protests”, then it is safe enough to declare voting in person at the polls after showing photo ID and being found on the current voter rolls.
Hoax piled upon hoax. When shall people declare this to be “Enough!”
If anyone doesn’t know this, DJT greatly admires the political strategies of Richard Nixon.
He’s 100% correct, and certainly Nixon is the only one the liberals hated maybe more than Trump.
I will note the margin of victory for the silent majority has decreased. Nixon was reelected with states Trump probably can’t carry. Due to demographics.

They still are waiting in New York for races. And it seems like their primary was a while ago. Mail in ballots should have a date due before the election.

This is not to say Trump will easily win a guaranteed second term. There is no guarantee we will have an open and honest election. In fact the opposite is most likely true.
The piece is about Leftists idea not winning over a majority of the Americans, therefore they have to resort to extreme measures. The more extreme they go there, the more they will lose the ‘consent of the majority’.
What the silent majority will tolerate up to, is still yet to be played out.
There is no Silent Majority anymore. That was the point of all of immigration, legal and illegal. That America is gone. It’s not 1970 anymore. This election is going to be very close.

A friend texted me last night if he should answer a poll about Trump. They asked him to give “general” personal information, party preference, zip code - along with already having his phone number.
I told him to slam down the phone if he ever got one of those calls and to ignore it if he got an e mail or text message asking same.
We live in a deep blue area and have jobs to protect. No telling where the information could end up.
I think there are a lot of us Trump voters just like us who don’t answer polls.
Silent Majority indeed. We are out here, in very large numbers, despite what the Democrats and lefty polling agencies think. I talk to this majority every day - quietly, at my workplace, throughout my conservative family. All of us know to keep our mouths shut in this era of terrorism directed at folks just like us.
Remember Hillary had an over “90% chance of winning” the day before the 2016 election.
I had TRUMP 45 Vanity License Plates on my Car when I lived in S. California. Moved out of State so I had to take them off.
I never had too many issues, but now that Anarchy is mainstream, I’m sure my Car would have been torched if I still lived there.
For years, on my way to work, I passed by a burned out KFC that that had been destroyed during the Rodney King riots. It remained that way for a decade before a developer was brave enough to put up a small mini mall.
I read yesterday that there is same in Ferguson MO - burned out businesses that never returned - and WalMart is threatening to abandoned several cities - the risk of burning and looting is too great.

I’m surprised your car wasn’t keyed and your tire slashed before you left. Trump won’t even visit California - for good reason, it is a lost cause with the likes of Gavin Newsom in office.
In 2016, before the election, I never saw a single Trump sign in anyone’s yard - there were plenty “Bernie” signs, though, and Hillary was all over the place - on billboards, bumper stickers, yard signs, etc.
It wasn’t until I went to a family reunion that summer in Pennsylvania that I saw my first “Trump for President” signs - a lot of them - proudly displaced on lawns.
Had the Plates on my Car, a Red Dodge Challenger, for three Years. Outside of a few middle fingers and one crazy Mexican Dude going off at the local Costco Gas Station, most people were supportive.
I would have people waiting by my Car when I came out of the Grocery Store to talk about POTUS Trump, all of them saying they wouldn’t dare put anything Trump on their Car in fear of retribution.
This was in South Orange County, the former Republican enclave, although I drove all over S. CA.
Trump is going to win in a landslide.
