Donald Trump's 2020 re-election campaign has disavowed a parody video showing the US president massacring media outlets and political rivals.
The video was on display at a conference organised by American Priority, a pro-Trump group.
Organisers of the event at a Trump resort in Miami, Florida, said the video was part of a "meme exhibition". CNN had called on the Trump campaign to denounce the video "immediately in the strongest possible terms".
Tim Murtaugh, a spokesman for the Trump campaign, told the New York Times: "That video was not produced by the campaign, and we do not condone violence."

Yes, a bit of irony. Whoever produced that is sick. It was unnecessary.
I want to see democrats disavow antifa.
My bet is that whoever produced it isn’t a Trump supporter.
Interesting point. Its certainly possible. It could be like the dip wads, that dream up all the fake hate crimes.
“immediately in the strongest possible terms”
The above quote is the strongest possible term that exists in the English Language.
There is no more devastating a thing than to be condemned “immediately in the strongest possible terms” by a US politician or ambassador to the UN.
“Traditional”. . . . only if you were a member of Westboro Baptist. And everyone came to church heavily armed. . .
Remember, hate the sin, love the sinner. . .
Womp. Womp.
No one is advocating shooting up fake news propaganda mills. It was a funny spoof of a movie. I enjoyed it and bet the president did too.
There is only HUMOR on our side in today’s America. It should have been posted on Youtube and not shown at a Trump support meeting.
How did the NYTimes learn about it?
I wonder what size screen it was even shown on ... maybe a laptop?
Our side produced it.
Pro-Trump Memesmith Carpe Donktum has been hosting it over on his site for over a year and stands clearly by the makers of this parody. It was produced by TheGeekzTeam, maker of several pro-Trump video memes.
Our side has really got to stop being such pussies about this stuff.
New York Times supports a play calling for President Trumps staff to assassinate him in the style of Julius Caesar and nobody cares. This happens and we wring our hands!
Still don’t think it’s right. Two wrongs do NOT make a right.
