I've been a U.S. senator for three weeks now, and I can tell you that reports of hate and incompetence in Washington are severely understated. Things are actually much worse than they appear.

We can’t coexist with these evil “people”. Something has to give.

Apparently, the Democrat leadership, and possibly Obama, have made a deal with the cartels. They can bring as many future Democrat voters into this country illegally, and the Democrats will block any attempt by the President to stop it....a truly evil win/win situation for them.

No doubt the Democrat lackeys at the Ninth Circuit Court already have the paperwork ready to block the President’s declaration of a national emergency.

Hey now. Old Napa nan is more than willing to compromise. Really simple. They get all the money they want for food, clothing, shelter and medical care and the wall gets zipnada nuthin’. See, compromise.

It sure seems like it. But globalist republican politicians also seem to have little problem with importing UNSKILLED and LOW WEALTH immigrants (especially LEGAL with chain migration).

I hope President Trump has a serious backup plan. If some thuggish Obama judge exceeds his authority and attempts to prevent the President of the United States from protecting our country, perhaps Trump should close all border crossings with Mexico. He does not have to make the closure official, just station troops at each crossing with orders to thoroughly search, scan, and dog-sniff vehicles one at a time if they attempt to cross, and send lots of troops to protect the remainder of the border until the Wall is built. Make the search methodical enough, and the border is effectively closed. Perhaps Mexico will build the Wall (and pay for it!) to open the border they need far more than we do.

“Apparently, the Democrat leadership, and possibly Obama, have made a deal with the cartels.”

I don’t buy the conspiracy crap, at least in this case, because it’s not needed.

The Dems know the more they can get into this country, the stronger their Amnesty and open borders position becomes. It’s not that they’re having meetings in smoke-filled rooms - but rather that the have the same interests and goals.

I think it was on FR that I saw that the Marxist Mexican president has basically ended the war against the cartels. This is all adding up to bad things coming our way. If Mexico turns into a Venezuela, look out.

What is needed is for a state, preferably a border state, to declare war on Mexico and force the federal govt to act. Then Pres. Trump can do what needs to be done to secure the border, and send in the military to destroy the cartels as well. The states, just like the congress, have the constitutional authority to declare war.

That’s a good idea. Something has to give. I wouldn’t doubt that President Trump announces he’s declaring a national emergency at the State of the Union. I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of Dems get up and walk out.

If that happens, mexico would be easy for us to invade and conquer.

Getting rid of a half dozen drug cartels is step one, while stationing really armed military on the border and closing it tighter than a drum.

No imports to the US and no money going from the US back to mexico.

Dry up trade and US cash and Mexico would be screaming uncle in English as well as Spanish.

A judge would have no standing.
Congress revised the National Emergencies Act so that the termination of an emergency decree requires a joint resolution signed by the president. If the president vetoes such a measure, a two-thirds majority vote in each chamber
would be needed to override.

Dems would rather the country burn than give Trump a win on anything. Their hatred for him is far more extreme than Reagan.

Our congress can’t even get a measly 5.7B for a desperately needed barrier. No way is there political will to do what is needed.

This is what happens when the commie dem Rats are owned by the cartels and their big donors and the republicans are owned by the chamber of commerce and fat cat donors. We the people are way down the list of priorities for them until election time; then for 10 minutes we matter.

I have no doubt the cartels own some of our politicians. Cartels survive on bribery, foundation of their business. What is truly sad is more and more clueless and brainwashed people are being elected. Some are so clueless, no need to even bribe them.

Personally, I find it hard to believe that longtime Democrat politicians have suddenly, and irrationally, grown a visceral "hatred" for Trump, even if he beat Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Politicians win and lose all the time; they never have bloodlust "hatred" for the other person just because they lost. Therefore, it has to be something else.

What it is, is a desperation to cover up the many illegalities and abuses of the Obama administration, weaponizing the previously trusted institutions of the United States against its own people to further the liberal agenda.

It can't be anything else.

The Democrat party has become a criminal organization. They don't "hate" Trump, it's just business to them.

Trump must go before the whole truth comes out. Ginning up a "hate" is just a tool in their toolkit.

-PJ

p.s. okay... maybe Nancy Pelosi is an exception. She is irrational in her actions, likely due to the humiliations she's received by Trump.
