#5. Kerry did see some serious action in S. Vietnam while serving as commander of a Swift Boat. Can’t take that away from him, but he did promote himself in some of the stories about several actions that left out other Swiftboats next to him providing covering fire.
His 3 Purple Hearts were all caused by non-enemy incidents - he blew up a VC rice cache and was too close to it. Got some rice in his ass.
Probably fired his M79 grenade launcher into the wooden railing of his boat, thus getting a metal fragment in his arm.
The third PH on the Bay Hap River never was combat caused. He fled “imaginary” enemy fire and his boat hit an underwater object, probably a sandbar, and threw him around the cabin/deck, thus hurting his arm.

The Rats have a serious case of projection: It is Pelosi & Schumer who walked away & refuse to negotiate with Trump. He has put several reasonable proposals on the table & they flatly reject even sitting down & talking.
As for John Kerry, his mental stability & patriotism has always been questioned.
