MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) U.S. Senate candidate Phil Bredesen has taken some soft jabs at Republican opponent Marsha Blackburn for refusing to debate him in Memphis, Tennessee.
He also unnerved some supporters when he said he could back policies made by President Donald Trump as long as they help Tennessee.
Bredesen, a Democrat, answered questions at a forum at Rhodes College in Memphis on Thursday. More than 400 people attended the session scheduled on the same day Bredesen wanted to debate Blackburn, who has represented a Middle Tennessee district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2002....

Obviously I want Blackburn to win but at least this dem pol is showing some signs of good sense. Gotta give credit for that I guess.
Pretty sure McLame’s grave is a yellow puddle about now. I told them they should have put some sump pumps in but did they listen? Nooooooo.
He’s a lib. Shows he is desperate.
Knows how the wind is blowing.
Bredensen would be better than Corkwhore...but not by much.

Bredesen may be sincere but if elected, Schumer would whip him into sacrificing his term as a one termer just to be another no vote to Trump for the next 6 years
Sorry, I can never believe a Democrat. Like Muslims it's okay for them to lie to fool the enemy.
I think Bredesen’s voting record would probably be much worse than Corker’s, if he wins. Corker gets on TV a lot when he attacks Trump because he is a Republican. If Bredesen gets to be senator and attacks Trump, it won’t be so newsworthy (from the view of the MSM).
He also unnerved some supporters when he said he could back policies made by President Donald Trump -- as long as they help Tennessee.
Spoiler alert -- he's lying.
Schumer would say do you want to stay here Phil, then vote the way I tell you not the way your constituents want you too, don’t worry you can lie and our media will back your lies.
