Friday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele likened President Donald Trump’s rally last night in Wilkes-Barre, PA to a “circus” that is causing “swing voters” to move away from Republicans.
Steele said, “Pennsylvania is a bellwether for a number of important races coming up this fall and the fact that the president is so narrowly playing to a base, that he feels good in that setting, he’s having fun, he’s riffing and cussing and doing all this and those folks are loving it. To Charlie’s point, the rest of the country, the independent voters, center/right Democrats, and Republicans are looking at this and going, ‘what is this all about?’ ………..
(Steele) added, “I think, back to your point about swing voters, I think those swing voters are moving away from the Trump circus and focusing more on the fact that they want something a little bit different, and this ain’t it.”

Steele sold his blackishness as the credential to be the former Republican National Committee chair couldn't attract (quote) swing voters (unquote), other than that, he's an expert on it.

My guess is that Michael Steele is one of the least likely person to know what Republican voters are going to do. I wonder if he even knows any Republican voters? The fact that MSNBC turns to him for an expert opinion demonstrates how out of touch that crowd are.
Anyone that goes on that rag channel MSNBC should be counted as part if the enemy within Utterly unwatchable.
Notice how so many has beens are rushing towards the TV cameras and mikes to condemn Trump.
They know that they can grab a few minutes of fame by airing/showing their TDS.

The old playbook was that 40% were Democrats, 40% were Republicans, and the remaining 20% in the “middle” decided elections. That playbook was put to bed with Obama, and put in the grave with Trump. Now the playbook is base turnout: get your people to vote, and convince your opponent’s people not to vote. The Dems are trying to use this playbook by separating Trump from his supporters, but it isn’t working, because the Dems don’t know what makes the supporters of Trump support him, so they keep bringing up things that the supporters don’t care about.
The GOPe is a generation behind the times, but Trump understands what it takes to win in this generation.
