All the global governance people thought they had this in the bag and went for the sprint to the end. They were too optimistic and their mistake will hopefully set them back a decade or two.
The normal citizen has never said they want a global governance, yet the ruling elite make it sound like this was everybody’s plan and everybody agreed. I would bet a huge majority would disagree if asked- “Should the US give up control of their own country in favor of a global governance?”
Surely we will be told the Russians hacked Brexit too, and thus the vote should be void.
Hitlery doesn’t like the idigenous peoples of Europe.

“believing that somehow this would be good for their small village.” This was exactly the kind of patronising, sneering anti-British drivel talking our country down that led many to vote Brexit in the first place. The remoaner’s message was basically ‘Britain is a small, pathetic weak country that needs to stay living in the EU’s basement if it knows what is good for it’. Not a very inspiring message if you have at least some semblance of patriotic pride.
