Hillary Clinton suggested in an interview published Saturday that President Donald Trump appealed to male voters by promising to take jobs away from women and give them to men.
In the interview with the New York Times to promote her new book What Happened, Clinton claimed that President Trump won because he sold a retrograde message of nostalgia: We can go back to the way things were. You dont have to compete with a woman for a job. Or with a striving young immigrant. Its a falsehood that gave some comfort to people and gave the permission to scapegoat others.
She claimed that Trump offered a Leave it to Beaver-style America to voters, suggesting Trump voters worried about a vast network of people who were coming to take their jobs away: If that woman, that immigrant, that Muslim, that African-American, if they get ahead, thats coming from me, she told the Times. Clinton suggested that an alternate narrative is required, one that she says she was able to package with her Stronger Together platform.
Clinton reiterated her belief that many Trump voters were just sexist: The idea that women have to fit certain stereotypes; thats a weight around the ankle of every ambitious woman Ive ever met we get constant messaging our whole lives: Youre not thin enough, talented enough, smart enough. Your voice isnt what we want to hear. This has to be called out for what it is: a cultural, political, economic game thats being played to keep women in their place.
Sounding like the election was far from over, Clinton identified what she called a well-coordinated campaign to fuel anger. Clinton said she refused to compete with that level of vitriol. Remember, Trump was provoking violence at this rallies
But despite my efforts to break through and put forward the plans I had, I never figured out how to contend with the anger or overcome it.
In her defense, he did promise to take a job away from at least one woman.
Maybe she was drunk when she gave the interview...
We know the New York Times would cover for her if she was... After all - according to Hillary - the New York Times didn’t DO ENOUGH for her to get her elected. They OWE her...
As if kissing her butt several times a day wasn’t enough from the paper of record... they have no shame.
The only “well-coordinated campaign to fuel anger” that I saw during the entire campaign, from primaries to general election, was coming from the dem/media/hollyweird alliance.
Hillary reminds me of the Beatles words:
Coo Coo ka do, I am the walrus.
“Rubbish! You have no power here. Begone! Before somebody drops a house on you, too!”
The title of her book is offensive to just about everyone. It tells us that she thinks she needs to tell us what we think about her?
Like a few hundred million people who voted are unaware there would be a winner of the election based on our god damned choices, not her dictate. Like we need to be told an alternative set of facts? I had Ham at last Christmas. I don't need Hillary to tell me I had turkey. Much like I don't need her to tell me what sex is? How to clean a server with a towel? Ran a speculative land deal with honest bankers in the mountains of Arkansas that didn't scam regulators? Gave Seth Rich an employee of the month award? Or loaned Ron Brown her frequent flyer miles? Or dodged sniper fire disguised as flowers?
In his business, hasn’t he always employ more women than men? I’ve heard that, but maybe it’s an urban legend.
Reminds me of a hymn we sing in church, “Farther Along”:
Tempted and tried we’re oft made to wonder
Why it should be thus all the day long
While there are others living about us
Never molested though in the wrong
Farther along we’ll know all about it
Farther along we’ll understand why
Cheer up my brother live in the sunshine
We’ll understand it all by and by
Just think; maybe 2 years into her presidency we would end up with Tim Kaine as president. She’s gone quite round the bend.
That’s nice thanks
Hillary is the gift that keeps giving.
They record his every word and analyze them to trap him.
Since we have found out that the head of Security at EQUIFAX ws a WOMAN ( with a music major) hired to fill the affirmative action hiring demands........
Maybe someone should get Shrillary into a clinic for evaluation. She is beyond delusional.
We?! Maybe Hillary heard those things - she's certainly not thin and certainly not too smart. But massive projection going on here.
She sold her soul to the devil?
Hillary doesn’t want women having to compete on merit. I wonder if her information was taken in the Equifax security breach. If so, it would serve her right because the data security job was held by a woman music major.

I’ll tell you, that woman!
She always makes everything only about HER.
