There’s too much leftist politics with both candidates, and that’s why it’s close. RINO Republicanism, instead of Conservative Republicanism, makes this a close race. An actual conservative candidate, as the final GOP candidate, would be doing much better with the total pro-conservative voters, in this Georgia Congressional District.

This distroict is a solid GOPE Never Trumper district. It is not a solid Conservative bastion.
GA 6 voted overwhelmingly for GOP Senator Johnny Issacson in Nov 2016. It did not vote nearly as heavily for Trump.
What the GOP Establishment Pundits are busy covering up is Never Trump did have a very damaging effect in staunch GOP bastions around the country. In FL, NC and other states the GOP Senate candidate significantly out performed Trump in hard core GOP areas. What Media Conservatives, and other Never Trumpers are desperate to hide is they DID almost hand the election to Hillary with their poltical idiocy.
The problem in GA-6 is not the voters, it the lazy arrogance of a GOP Establishment, who thinks they own GA-6, facing a highly energetic, very well funded rabidly lying Democrat.
Ossoff has done a good job, with the help of a lap dog local “News media” of pretending to be a “Moderate Republican” type candidate. The GOP has done a poor job of opposing him.
