Psychologists have discovered that when most Americans see the US flag, they have stronger feelings of patriotism for as long as two weeks. In voting, stronger feelings of patriotism uniquely favor Republican candidates, with Democrats getting no boost at all from feelings of patriotism.
This can be enough to sway a close election in favor of Republicans.
Therefore, the very best thing you can do before an election is to get a large number of small American flags, and put them out where they are seen by the public.
Even dollar stores often sell multi packs of small flags.
