Dems Hope to Ride Grassroots' Anti-Trump Wave Till 2018

BALTIMORE – They may be the minority party, but House Democrats are feeling energized these days – and for good reason. They point to the grassroots protests, marches and town-hall disruptions of recent weeks as a sign that President Trump has already sparked involvement by their base at historic levels.

The high-profile protests so far have been organic, not organized by any party apparatus – from the women’s march on inauguration weekend to the thousands who showed up at airports following Trump’s executive order temporarily banning refugees and immigrants from seven majority-Muslim countries. Dozens of lawmakers joined in the events at the National Mall and airports, eager to encourage such activism and take part in it.

But for lawmakers reinvigorated after feeling shell-shocked following the election, the critical question is how to turn opposition outrage into an electoral movement, and how to make sure the energy is still palpable 20 months from now at Trump’s first midterm election....

This wave is much smaller than the leftist, activist MSM makes it out to be.

But everything they’re into is fake and made up.

Soros is gonna have to dole out a couple billion for that election too. Fake grassroots movements like BLM, Occupy Wall Street, and the proposed Democrat version of the Tea Party costs big bucks.

Love it.

Not grass roots.

Wave requires money for buses, ski masks and food stamps.

Wave requires tireless “anger”.

Waves requires huge amounts of money to fight massive number of felony charges - money that will never come and won’t that be a kick in the teeth.

The funding will be traced back to the financial backers who will face the full force of the US Government to bring them to justice.

Good luck with that.

It is the Trump supporters who are doubling down - on their resolve to fight these leftist commie bastards and wipe them out.

The stupid protest marches have ALL been nothing but ASTROTURF and about as "organic" as a roll of plastic.

And the more the lefties keep this crap up, the farther away from voting DEM, for ANYTHING, the Trump voters/supporters and even others are being pushed.

I live in Travis county, not in city of Austin. But there have been some tiny violent protests. Not widespread. Millions on people here go to work, to school, to church, to grocery store... most people aren’t protesting. They said on the news tonight that all the protesters at the townhall meetings are paid democrats.

They need to go WAY further left, more riots, more fires more beatings, more shutting down dialog and name calling, more phony manufactured hate crimes, more in-your-face-Norman-Rockwell's-America-countercultural confrontation, more blocking people's commutes and ambulances with sick people in them, more siding with the dregs of the International community, more mocking of tradition, more guilt-tripping regular people for just trying to get through life, more coming up with preposterous rationalizations of 'why America is the worst thing that ever happened to Planet Earth', and on and on.

THAT'S how you win the hearts of the American people!

Believing their own hype helped them lose the last election.

“They point to the grassroots protests, marches and town-hall disruptions of recent weeks as a sign that President Trump has already sparked involvement by their base at historic levels”

... meanwhile totally driving away everyone else who are NOT part of their radical “base” of protesters, marchers, and town-hall disrupters.

The Democrats are completely clueless if they think pandering to the destructive and childish behavior of radical anarchists is going to win them votes from the independents, unaffiliateds, and the undecideds.

President Trump’s gigantic rallies translated into votes, but burning, destroying, rioting and wearing stupid looking pink hats does not.

If democrats can get 10,000 people together WITHOUT HAVING A ROCK BAND, MADONNA, OR SOME OTHER HOLLYWOOD PULL... I'LL BELIEVE THERE'S A MOVEMENT.

Until then it's George Soros and his paid 250 thugs flown round the country to cause trouble. The press is vile - they buy into this BS because they sooooooo want it to be true.

It's ain't the Tea Party - it's 'rent a mob'...and press butt kissers.
