[FLASHBACK] Trump’s Deficient Ground-Game
Outside the Beltway ^ | October 1, 2016 | Steven L. Taylor

An interesting piece from the PBS Newshour, The Trump campaign has a ground-game problem:

As the presidential election marathon breaks into a final sprint, the Trump campaign faces a jaw-dropping gap in the ground game: Hillary Clinton currently has more than three times the number of campaign offices in critical states than does Donald Trump. Those figures include both Trump offices and Republican National Committee victory offices, as confirmed by the Trump campaign.

The contrast is a test for the conventional campaign model and points to the candidates’ stark differences in methods. Clinton is cleaving to the data-driven, on-the-ground machine that won two elections for Barack Obama. Trump, on the other hand, insists he does not need traditional campaign tactics to win the election, pointing to his overwhelming nomination victory achieved with a relatively small team and little spending.

The whole piece is worth a read....

The Dems were probably lying about how many offices they had like they lie about everything.

It is supremely ironic that all these progressive liberals who want to change the world are actually the most conservative in rejecting change.

In other words Hillary was “fighting the last war” and was overconfident.

Its true that Trump won against Hillary’s multibillion dollar machine with two cans and a shoestring. I just hope they aren’t planning to repeat the same strategy against an opponent who is actually more competent.

If the Trump election teaches us anything, it should teach us that many, many criticisms are utterly irrelevant.

Knowing that, I have to wonder what those who want Trump to “tone it down” think that would accomplish?

Trump will need a different strategy next time. In truth he barely broke the blue wall. Not to take anything away, his team was brilliant in hindsight. The rats are pouring every waking moment into keeping it from happening again. Step one use the power to crush the voter fraud because that is the key. No cheating and the rats lose simple as that.

Oopsie. Hillary had ground game in states she had already lost, and President Trump had ground game in states Hillary didn’t even know were at risk.

Trump should open more offices to win FL and NC.

Trump ran his campaign like a business, Clinton ran her campaign like a government bureaucracy.

If the border is (finally!) at least “better secured” with real progress either underway or reasonably coming,
if the economy improves,
if international war is averted (despite constant new war-mongering from the so-called “peace at any price” crowd!)

then Trump will be re-elected easily.
Regardless of his “ground game”, end game, or middle game.

Hillary Clinton currently has more than three times the number of campaign offices in critical states than does Donald Trump.

It takes a lot of ADMIN staff to generate fraudulent votes. The DEMS have proven the dead vote in elections, but in practice, somebody alive still has to fill in the ballot.
