Gallup: Trump’s favorable rating among Republicans rebounds somewhat

A nice catch by Nate Cohn this morning. Remember when Mike Pence called on Republicans to “come home”? Well, it seems some were already in the process.

Follow the link and you’ll see that that’s Trump’s best favorability within his party since October 1st, which wasn’t long ago on the calendar but was ages ago politically. The “Access Hollywood” tape didn’t drop until a full week later. You’ll also notice that the guy hadn’t seen 70 percent since the Sept. 26 – Oct. 2 period. Not coincidentally, September 26th was the date of the first debate, which every scientific poll showed him losing. It looks like he began to slide once reaction to that was fully priced in, and then the slide continued after the tape emerged and the sexual-assault accusations began. Only now has he fully recovered. What explains that? Has Trump been doing something right lately in his messaging or is this really just Republicans gearing up mentally for the final two weeks and viewing their nominee through a rosier lens?

As Hitlery and her demonic minions' emails continue to drip deplorable underhanded tricks and characterizations of the Buckets of Peons, Trump's "Favorability" ratings should skyrocket the closer we get to Nov 8. Surely even most "NeverTrumpers" will regain their sanity.

At that time, voters are going to imagine the next four years and how they will be regarded by Hitlery (like s***.) Even if his isn't liked, many realize he is at least honest. The Hag is neither likable OR regarded as honest (just ask Bernie-Bots.) She is a bitchy back-stabber. So why would Dems still vote for her? (Ans: Many won't.)

Thanks “2nd”. That is an astounding Tracking on favorably to 71 % . My eyes are bugging out at that. First, it sunk in that those women that attacked him were making it up. ( I’m so glad they are being sued for millions and deposed soon on video) . But 2. It is my hope that what we see a relative assessment compared to the liar criminal hillary . When juxtaposed Trump appeals angelic!!
