Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by four points in North Carolina, while Trump is ahead by one in Ohio, according to two new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polls of these states.
In North Carolina, Clinton gets support from 45 percent of likely voters, Trump gets 41 percent, and Libertarian Gary Johnson gets 9 percent. (The Green Party's Jill Stein didn't qualify to make the ballot in the state.) [continued]

Amazing how Trump has a 5% chance to win election according to 538 and is down 7-10 points nationally (which is a historical landslide). Yet in every swing state he’s in the hunt. Almost like they’re fudging the national polls because it’s easier to do.

College Marist propagandists this close means Trump is way ahead.
Has the electricity been restored in NC. Last I heard from the climate change gods on the weather channel the eastern half of a large portion of NC has power and flooding. Issues.
The vote doesn’t even matter. The networks will coordinate and just declare Clinton the winner. Who will know?

Turnout looks like it is going to be significantly down from 2012. Iowa absentee ballot requests are way down, especially on the Democratic side. All polls are assuming a 2012 turnout model.
I agree: enough with the media talking heads. They all think they are the story, and all ( including fox) have bought into Hillary. Such venal self-serving yellow journalism is sickening. Have they really not seen the peoples’ enthusiasm wherever Trump speaks?

I call BS. I live in NC - today I played golf with old friends and drove 50 miles each way through ‘the country’ as we say it down here. I saw dozens of Trump signs and not a single Hillary sign. I know only a handful of people who are not voting for Trump.
