NON-COLLEGE EDUCATED WHITE MALES
09-15-16 | TEDWINT

“Non-college educated white males”, the voting block said to be “Donald Trump's Crucial Pillar of Support”, leads one to believe that The Donald’s appeal is limited to a lower class of Americans.

“Non-college educated” seems to be synonymous with illiterate or ignorant. One could almost visualize a knuckle-dragging brute, wielding a club with which to kill his lunch or subdue a mate.

This is yet another indication that the elites hold Trump supporters in contempt. Hillary Clinton went so far as to call Trump supporters irredeemable, un-American “deplorables”.

The assumption appears to be that a person’s education ceases the instant said person leaves the classroom. A person’s curiosity and quest for knowledge comes to a screeching halt unless he or she is enduring the droning ramblings of an elite college professor’s liberal brainwashing, while going through the motions of teaching something useful.

A listing of these “knuckle-dragging brutes” might include:

STEVE JOBS, co-founder of Apple, ended up dropping out of Reed College. At the time of his death in 2011, Jobs' net worth was $11 billion.

RICHARD BRANSON, founder of Virgin Atlantic Airways, Virgin Records, Virgin Mobile and other Virgin brands. Branson never completed high school, but his net worth is said to be roughly $4.9 billion.

DAVE THOMAS, founder and CEO of fast-food empire, WENDY'S, dropped out of high school. Although he passed away in 2002 at 69 years old, his net worth was said to be $99 million.

RACHAEL RAY, cooking TV show star, author and businesswoman never attended college. Her net worth is a cool $60 million. Okay, she’s not a non-college educated white male, but I thought she merited inclusion.

MARK ZUCKERBERG, founder of FACEBOOK. You’d think dropping out of Harvard would be a bad idea, especially when everyone is trying to get in. His net worth is rising so fast, it’s hard to evaluate at any given time.

SHELDON ADELSON – The famous casino owner is worth billions of dollars, irrespective of the fact that he dropped out of City College of New York. He is known as one of the richest in the United States.

CHARLES DICKENS – Although he had no degree in English, English language literature is incomplete without his works.

MARK TWAIN – The author of the “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” and “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, arguably some of the best American literature, didn’t have a college education.

Limits of space and time prevent a longer list of these exceptional non-college educated individuals, but it should be obvious I have only scratched the surface.

Although I never finished college, myself, I enjoyed a forty-plus year career as a Licensed Structural Engineer, and am proud to list myself along with these notable non-college educated whites (while, unfortunately, my net worth is not in the same league as those of the aforementioned), I am a Trump supporter, and I take extreme umbrage at being held in such disdain by elites of both parties.

I have 202 college credits, including a Master’s degree in Comp Sci, and I support Trump.

The elites can suck on that.

Somebody who buried him/her/itself under mountains of student loan debt for a degree that qualifies them to be a Starbuck’s barista is a lot dumber than somebody who got a job and stayed out of debt.

When I see the phrase “college educated” I always see it as “college indoctrinated”.

Thomas Edison, the most innovative of them all, dropped out of FIRST GRADE when his mother disagreed with the way he was being treated by his teacher. She home schooled him. The rest is history.

Too often, college is the place where brain cells go to die, and I’m not just talking about the excessive drinking and drugging. Most professors don’t want to have students who think outside the professor’s box, so students soon learn to keep their thoughts to themselves if they want to pass the course. It’s shameful that too many of our universities are academic gulags.

Those with 13 or fewer years of indoctrination tend to vote for Trump.

I once had the misfortune of having some of the most diehard lefties as co-workers.

I recall one of our frequent arguments dealing with college education, whereas their stand was all need to be college educated. I finally got them to admit the purpose was to be indoctrinated. BTW, they treated HS grads as knuckle draggers.

Maybe Rush can get to be a moderator at the debates? He didn’t graduate from college either. I’m sure in Hillary’s eyes, he’s be to uneducated to ask her a question since he didn’t graduate from Yale or Harvard. He is so beneath her. Then again he would only have to ask her the questions she submitted to be asked?

They forget in 1992 Clinton had the Bubba vote. Maybe not the same group but close by their standards.

EVERYONE in my family has a Master's Degree and EVERYONE supports Trump (and hates hillary), so the so-called "elites" efforts to portray Trump supporters poorly educated or ignorant fail miserably, as do most of their endeavors.

Let me weigh in here. I have 195 college credits, two Master’s degrees, and insurance/investment licensing too. I put up with 6 years of liberal campuses - I put in my share. And yes, I too support Trump.

And yes again, the elites can suck on that too.

Wanna really get to them? Here’s what I say:

Of education, knowledge and wisdom, education is the least and wisdom is the greatest. And college is for those who can’t do it themself.

BTW, have you ever seen the list of successful people that are either college dropouts or never went? It’s pretty impressive. Gates and Jobs are on the top.

I have no college credits to my name what so ever. I am lower class, more ignorant, drag my knuckles more than you and can now hate you with impunity at the CAnkle’s urging.

Where the hell is all my free $hit !!??!!

Seems to me that it’s the college educated politicians, the oh-so-special Ivy League lawyers and money magicians in particular, that have brought our nation into the mess we now face.

One thing that the extremely self-made rich has that most college graduates don’t have, is the ability to take calculated “risks”.

Risk takers will always be more successful than the ones that just go along to get along and follow the rules.

And that’s what most college graduates are. Followers.
