PHOTOSYNTHESIS & CO2
09-03-2016 | TEDWINT

This is the chemical equation for what makes plants grow:

6CO2 + 6H2O + Energy = C6H12O6 + 6O2

Translation: Carbon Dioxide plus water with the infusion of light energy and chlorophyll, acting as a catalyst, yields carbohydrates (glucose), utilized in the growth of plants, plus free oxygen.

Conclusion: WHEN CO2 INCREASES, PLANTS GROW FASTER (AND LARGER). If plants grow larger they absorb more water and use more light energy. This means less light energy is available to contribute to “global warming”. If more water is retained in plants all over the world, sea levels will fall. If less light energy is available for “global warming”, the polar ice caps will increase. With more CO2 available, the tropical rainforests will flourish. Plants actually require carbon dioxide for growth. If there was a significant reduction in CO2 , forests, crops, sea plants, etc., would be adversely affected.

ADDED BONUS: This process takes a given volume of carbon dioxide (bad greenhouse gas) and produces an approximate equivalent volume of oxygen (good gas that we need to live). This natural process has been going on since the dawn of creation and will continue as long as we have sufficient quantities of CO2, water and sunlight. The Global Warming “scientists”, like Algore and that Hockey Stick goof say we have way too much CO2 and water, and I don’t think the sun is going anywhere.

Research Hydrologist Charles Perry, of the U.S. Geological Survey, questioned rising CO2 concerns in 2008. Perry acknowledges a warming trend, but notes that current temps have not reached the level when Vikings farmed Greenland during the Medieval Warm Period (about 950 to 1250 A.D.). (Ed. Note: There were very few SUV’s or air conditioners during that Medieval Warm Period. Gotta wonder what was causing “Global Warming” then? Viking flatulence, perhaps?)

Ian Rutherford Plimer is an Australian geologist, professor emeritus of earth sciences at the University of Melbourne , professor of mining geology at the University of Adelaide , and the director of multiple mineral exploration and mining companies. He has published 130 scientific papers, six books and edited the Encyclopedia of Geology.

WHERE DOES THE CARBON DIOXIDE REALLY COME FROM? September 3rd, 2013 PLIMER: "Okay, here's the bombshell. The volcanic eruption in Iceland. Since its first spewing of volcanic ash has, in just FOUR DAYS, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet - all of you. Of course, you know about this evil carbon dioxide that we are trying to suppress - it's that vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow and to synthesize into oxygen for us humans and all animal life. I know.. it's very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the inconvenience and expense of driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up till midnight to finish your kids "The Green Revolution" science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, vacationing at home instead of abroad, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your 50 cent light bulbs with $10.00 light bulbs...well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just four days.

The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth's atmosphere in just four days - yes, FOUR DAYS - by that volcano in Iceland has totally erased every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast, carbon.

And there are around 200 active volcanoes on the planet spewing out this crud at any one time - EVERY DAY.

I don't really want to rain on your parade too much, but I should mention that when the volcano Mt Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in all its years on earth.

Yes, folks, Mt Pinatubo was active for over One year - think about it.

Of course, I shouldn't spoil this 'touchy-feely, tree-hugging' moment and mention the effect of solar and cosmic activity and the well-recognized 800-year global heating and cooling cycle, which keeps happening despite our completely insignificant efforts to affect climate change.

And I do wish I had a silver lining to this volcanic ash cloud, but the fact of the matter is that the bush fire season across the western USA and Australia this year alone will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two to three years. And it happens every year.

Just remember that your government just tried to impose a whopping carbon tax on you, on the basis of the bogus 'human-caused' climate-change scenario. Hey, isn't it interesting how "they" don't mention 'Global Warming' anymore, but just 'Climate Change'. You know why?

It's because the planet has COOLED by 0.7 degrees in the past century and these global warming bull artists got caught with their pants down.

And, just keep in mind that you might yet have an Emissions Trading Scheme - that whopping new tax - imposed on you that will achieve absolutely nothing except make you poorer. It won't stop any volcanoes from erupting, that's for sure.

But, hey, relax.....give the world a hug and have a nice day!"

Well, it isn’t really about reducing carbon emissions, it’s about getting stupid, gullible Americans (and previously Europe) to agree to reducing their standard of living to allow it to fall more in line with the rest of the world so as to create an elite and a peasantry with no troublesome middle class to muck up the governing oligarchy’ system.

It’s much easier to create a fascist or communist style dictatorship if there is a large underclass and a small middle class.

True. The "religion(s)" they seem to love is a brutally evil form of absolute submission and taxing the air we breath/exhale. Anyone that thinks mankind is evolving needs to read the laws of entropy. We really need Jesus bad.

It would be easier and much more effective to have a mass conversion of Muslims to ANY other religion in the world, than to try to convince a True Believer in the Church of Gaia that carbon dioxide does not irreversibly poison the pristine atmosphere of Plant Earth.

Cause and effect have become entirely divorced.

As time goes on and the falsehood becomes more apparent with each passing year, the climate-change cult will decline and sanity will return. Until then, prepare to pay more taxes and suffer the fools who’s minds have been warped by falsehoods and listening to the whispers of soothsayers like Al Gore and his minions.

"If more water is retained in plants all over the world, sea levels will fall."

There is possibly a major parallel with plants causing sea levels to fall when they retain more water with respect to rising human population that I don’t recall global warming alarmists ever addressing.

More specifically, since human bodies are composed of a significant percentage of water (50% to 65%), as the human population increases, shouldn’t that also contribute to falling sea levels?

Corrections, insights welcome.

“If there was a significant reduction in CO2 , forests, crops, sea plants, etc., would be adversely affected.”

At 150ppm, all plant life on Earth dies.

We’re currently at 400ppm, bouncing off an all-time planet Earth low of 220ppm during the last glaciation.

The last time both temperatures and Co2 levels were this low was 300 million years ago, Carboniferous period. (Berner2001)

I think the “religion” you refer to is $$$. As more and more money is spent on this BS, clowns like Al Gore are getting very, very rich!

“as the human population increases, shouldn’t that also contribute to falling sea levels?”

Without question. But I think the amount of water that humans retain, percentage-wise, compared to plant life, above ground and under water over the entire surface of the earth is rather insignificant. We’ll probably kill ourselves off before that becomes a problem. (Just kidding, I hope.)

"Wouldn’t you think those Global Warming “scientists” would know this?"

What global warming “scientists” know is the politically correct buzzwords to win unconstitutional, unaccountable federal funding.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

People not only eat plants, but also animals that eat plants. So the human contribution to falling sea levels would probably be interesting.

“saving the environment is a pretext for libtard statist control and socialism”

No doubt. But, as always, the name of the game is money. As the proletariat is taxed outrageously and pays exorbitant energy costs, the ruling class continues to prosper. That’s why dictatorial types keep trying to sell Marxism, etc., all over the world. They bleed the working class grunts until the whole system collapses, and then they cut out. The low-information crowd keeps getting sucked in because it sounds so attractive, but it has never succeeded (unless, of course, you’re one of the ruling class).
