Parents of two Benghazi victims have sued Hillary Clinton, arguing that she caused the death of their sons and later defamed them in statements made to the media, according to court documents.

“During her campaign for President, Defendant Clinton has negligently, recklessly, and/or maliciously defamed Plaintiffs by either directly calling them liars, or by strongly implying that they are liars, in order to protect and enhance her public image and intimidate and emotionally harm and silence them not to speak up about the Benghazi attack on at least four separate occasions,” Larry Klayman, an attorney for the families, wrote in his complaint.

I have read before that the U.S. Government is composed of many corporations which shields the politicians and bureaucrats from accountability in the same way that it does for businesses.

Anybody know about this?

The "corporations" part is wrong, but, under federal law, government officials generally have immunity from civil suits for their official acts.

Hillary Clinton is a lying, thieving, bullying, cheating, dirty little snot who flunked the bar exam.

That part is in the Constitution (Article I, section 6: "for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place").

Indeed it is. I thought it was an interesting but tangential and irrelevant point to this suit. The wrongful death part will be tossed, but Hillary will have to pay some money to get a good defense for the defmation. The judge will toss it. No reasonable judge would find her liable for anything.

Correct, but I don’t think her defaming the character of the families after she left office is protected conduct?
