According to Jim Geraghty, the senior political correspondent for the National Review, the delegates who support Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders at the Democratic National Convention were not allowed to be given the correct forms which would have allowed them to nominate and vote for an alternate vice president.

As reported by the National Review, 88 percent of Sanders delegates do not like Clintons choice of Tim Kaine, former governor and current senator from Virginia.
As covered by REGATED, Kaine holds many stances counter to progressive ideals. He has supported trade deals such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership as recently as Thursday, but has now come out against it. He also has faced criticism for taking gifts, totaling over $100,000 in value, during his time as governor of Virginia.
This newest development, after DNC emails were leaked on Friday that showed a pro-Hillary bias from senior officials, is yet another blow to the progressive wing of the Democratic party. Sanders said on Sunday that he wouldve preferred a more progressive person as the vice president, such as Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.
It is not surprising that the DNC stopped an insurgent movement against nominating Kaine as the vice president on the Democratic ticket, as it would be yet another example of the disunity and unrest within the party. However, more Sanders supporters would be likely to support a Clinton/Progressive ticket than a Clinton/Kaine ticket, as the belief is that the progressive vice president would be more likely to keep Clinton to her promises to uphold progressive values.
Sanders supporter Sarah Silverman was booed while she was onstage last night when she said to the crowd, Can I just say to the Bernie or bust people, youre being ridiculous.
There were jeers from the ardent Sanders supporters throughout the night at many of the speakers, including We trusted you! aimed at senator Warren during her speech for failing to endorse senator Sanders, and chants of War Hawk! also rang out throughout the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, a definite knock at Secretary Clintons support for the Iraq War and her role in the deterioration of countries such as Libya. Sanders is seen as the more peaceful candidate, as he voted against the Iraq War.
While Sanders endorsed Secretary Clinton last night, it is apparent that his most loyal and steadfast supporters are not yet willing to do the same.
Tim Kaine...the modern leader of the San Patricios
They’ll all vote for her in November.
Bernie supporters? No, I doubt it. Many will probably flock to Jill Stein.
Don’t know what the Bernie supporters are so upset about. They wanted communism and when they get it they aren’t so happy about it.
The corruptocrats ruled the day. Sad.
Poor Bernie will end up dead in some Mexican hotel just like Trotsky.
Let’s hope so.
