Yes, probably so. He likely still has a substantial set of supporters who have decided to quietly bide their time.

But you know what? They don’t amount numerically to anything significant. I suspect their numbers are even more diminished given Cruz’ self-serving and destructive address to the RNC. Anyone can support Ted Cruz; in his home state that may be enough to get re-elected.

But the one thing I do know. Nationally, his defenders will be the same ones that want to perpetuate the status quo and provide a thorn in the side of a Trump Presidency - all for their own nefarious purposes.

He will never, repeat NEVER EVER NEVER get any kind of well wish in what he’s chosen to become. He made his choice - I’ve made mine.

I’ve been against Cruz from the start on the basis he is NOT eligible for the presidency and HE KNOWS IT. I am happy he has finally shown himself the scumbag he is for all the world to see. My phone and email is busy with friends saying, “You were right. Why didn’t we see it?”

If the rage lasts, and it will, Cruz shall have “trumped” himself.

Like TRUMP, both parties despise him, the media despises him, his Senate colleagues want him out of their hair and leadership... leadership will see that he is appointed to chair NOTHING in the future on the Hill, donors have dropped off so enraged they may even help defeat the creep, even in a state election, and his cult following has been significantly diminished. If DC and President Trump, and burned donors, want him out of town, Teddy’s TEXAS re-election might cause him a hell of a hernia this time.

Now *that* is a wagon load of whup azz!

Donors that he let down may be willing to plop a horses head in his bed on the occasion of his re-election campaign.

Fredo sits on what is left over from his hugh and series war chest, upwards of 90 million dollars, and will have to spend a lot of it on rehabilitating his insane image, even in TEXAS.

A lot of us will be galvanized to defeat him at the grassroots level and support his opponent, no matter who it is. So many of us fell for his snake oil and none of us were interested in seeing that Bushy, David Dewhurst, his opponent at the time, in the US Senate from TEXAS.

Who knew at the time, what we soon learned, thereafter?

My friends are all conservatives, but they will not want to mention his name around me in the future, without causing a splody head here, followed with hearing chapter and verse of what he has done in the US Senate, since his first day arrival.

Cruz should be toast if we galvanize donors against him and *for* his opponent.
