How much of those rulings were based on fear that if Ted was rejected, it would start the Obama controversy up again?

None. The law is clearly written and the lawsuits were foolishness. The lawyers should have had their licenses suspended for
Wasting the court’s time.

There was another case filed in Illinois in which lawyers and plaintiffs failed to show up. My guess is the lawyer decided that the case was so incredibly stupid that he decided to end it.

The law, detailed in an above post, is quite clear. Ted is good to go.
