Trump expands slogan: Make America great 'for everyone'

Donald Trump, under pressure to do damage control over his comments about a Mexican-American judge, has added to his "make America great again" slogan.

"You know, I have the theme ‘make America great again,’ and I've added a couple of things," he said at a Friday rally in Richmond, Va. "Right now I’m adding make America great again — I’m adding 'for everyone,' because it’s really going to be for everyone. It's not going to be for a group of people, it’s going to be for everyone. It’s true." Pulling a talking point from Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders

, Trump then cited high unemployment rates among African-American youth and Hispanics.

"We're going to make it for everyone," Trump said.

Trump has been under fire for what many see as racist comments toward a federal judge of Mexican heritage, who Trump claims is inherently biased in the fraud case against Trump University.

"I am the least racist person. The least racist person that you’ve ever seen. I mean give me a break," Trump said Friday, echoing comments he made to the Washington Post. "I am the least racist person that you’ve ever looked at, believe me."

Trump, who hasn't apologized or walked back his comments about Judge Gonzalo Curiel, has seemingly acknowledged the detrimental affect his remarks have had.

While speaking at an evangelical leadership conference earlier Friday, Trump said in a scripted speech: "Freedom of any kind means no one should be judged by their race or their color."

But Trump continued to attack Sen. Elizabeth Warren

and called her "Pocahontas," a slight aimed at her reported Native American heritage. Some have denounced the nickname as racist.

"Pocahontas is not happy. She's not happy. She’s the worst," Trump said in Richmond. "I’m doing such a disservice to Pocahontas, it's so unfair to Pocahontas. But this Elizabeth Warren, I call her goofy Elizabeth Warren, she’s one of the worst senators in the entire United States Senate."

I like the first one better, but no harm having more than one. This just ‘expands the brand’.

The media's beating a dead horse. Once it came out the the judge is LaRaza, Trump won.

That's what he should pound on. His polls must be telling him not to single out LaRaza, but I don't know why.

Why not? The Donald knows how to keep the interest activated.
I ordered my red ball cap last december. It sits in my living room on top of a steer skull that I found in the Arizona desert decades ago. A new cap can sit on a saquaro cactus I may buy. I’m thinking of buying a bottle of his wine too.

Wait, you mean he believes in a common American culture that can improve everyone’s situation regardless of race or ethnicity?

Why he must be a huge racist or something.

“Donald Trump, under pressure to do damage control over his comments about a Mexican-American judge”

“under pressure”?

“damage control”?

These idiots with try to reduce everything he does from now on as a frantic reaction forced upon him by his detractors.

I like this one. Because it sets up the Hillary attack. Hillary could go off on Trump with, “America is already great blah blah cackle cackle...”

With this Trump can go back in her face and say “America has been great for your corporate cronies who are richer than ever while everyone else has been hurt by Obama.”

Her reported Native American heritage? Are you effing kidding me? She flat out lied about being an Indian to further her career. But Trump is the racist for calling her out on it? There's no shortage of left leaning bias in this article.

Judge is part of a LaRaza Lawyers group.

They tried to say they were not the same group. It was shown that they were tied to the other group and that the lawyers last summer decided NO ONE was to work with Trump or Trump businesses.

This judge also continued the case when the original girl was withdrawn since her evaluations of the University at graduation(?) were glowing. Lawsuit goes on after finding unhappy students to continue after original has to drop out? Since when?

Judge actually was an anchor baby for family...Father never a citizen ( death certificate published today) and Mother only after he was 18.

Republicans shouting racist are as guilty as Obama calling the police stupid...or the other rush to judgment things he has done.

Little by little Trump is proved right...again!

RYAN may be the biggest LOSER.

I will gladly vote for Trump because his heart is at least in the right place imo.

However ...

America has never been great as the Founders had envisioned imo. This is evidenced by the following excerpt from Thomas Jefferson’s writings.

“The rich alone use imported articles, and on these alone the whole taxes of the General Government are levied. … Our revenues liberated by the discharge of the public debt, and its surplus applied to canals, roads, schools, etc., the farmer will see his government supported, his children educated, and the face of his country made a paradise by the contributions of the rich alone, without his being called on to spend a cent from his earnings. [emphasis added]” —Thomas Jefferson to Thaddeus Kosciusko, 1811.

In fact, constitutionally low-information Trump probaby does not understand that, as rich as he is, he’s been ripped off by millions in unconstitutional, unaccountable federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

A previous generation of state sovereignty-respecing justices had put it this way.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

What Trump actually needs to be doing on the campaign trail is this imo. He needs to be promoting not only a repeal of the 16th and 17th Amendments, but also promoting amending the Court’s clarification of Congress’s limited power to appropriate taxes to the Constitution.

Happy to see Trump getting back on track.

Keep the focus on jobs, prosperity (for everyone), economy, immigration, trade, etc.

"and called her "Pocahontas," a slight aimed at her reported Native American heritage."

Huh? Reported by the fake Indian, and he's not criticizing her for her 'reported' heritage ... he's criticizing her for lying that she had the heritage.

They turn a criticism against her for being a liar into a racist remark because of what she lied about?

I know, I know ... but that's a pretty incredible line ... 'her REPORTED heritage.' Nobody reported it but her, and she didn't report about it, she lied about it.

Liberals are so f'ing stupid.
