Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said he understands the anger against Donald Trump that fueled violence at a Thursday rally but denounced the protesters that harassed and assaulted Trump supporters.
"I understand how reprehensible and disgraceful Donald Trump’s positions are, how ignorant they are, how much he is appealing— and I can understand the anger, I surely can," Sanders said at a press conference in Berkeley, Calif., Friday. "The bigotry that is coming from his mouth, the insults to the Mexican community, the Latino community and the Muslim community, and women, and African-Americans, and veterans. I understand the anger.
"But we are not going to defeat Trump, you know, by throwing eggs or getting involved in violence of any kind. We defeat Trump when we stand together as one people and fight for a progressive agenda."
Anti-Trump protests at a Thursday rally in San Jose turned violent as his supporters left the event, with protesters harassing, following and assualting attendees.
When asked Friday about Trump protesters who supported him, Sanders said he didn't want supporters who would turn to violence.
So what do you suggest, Bernie?
Cattle cars, maybe?
Is he saying they should throw eggs AND bacon? Maybe some croissants? Orange juice?
Leftists become leftists because they are born without a sense of shame. But I am loving the fact that this has caused them to rock back on their heels a bit.
Isn’t it wrong to throw eggs when people are starving in the world? And hens are being mistreated?

The dem party has abandoned any thought of competing in any sort of a marketplace of ideas and tries to win via technique and gaming, including attempting to simply import voting blocks for themselves and, sooner or later, that sort of an approach to politics drives brains and talent out of the picture; there simply isn't any sort of natural selection for brains and talent within the party under those circumstances.

Because Sanders and Clinton know that letting in all the illegal alien scum gives them more votes..20 million new Democrat voters, a permanent Democrat voter block, they will never lose power again and they know it
This cannot end well, unless police chiefs and mayors across the nation get together and say letting protestors run the show was a very bad idea, and every effort has to be made to regain law and order. I can't imagine how they can do that, with summer vacations already begun.
If I was to throw eggs at the protestors,
I would make sure they were genetically modified
and from hens raised on hydrocarbons and steroids.

He just called everyone who agrees with Trump by the same description. These people hate us, and, given the chance, will kill us.
Actually Trump should praise Bernie for at least having some integrity. Therefore they must be Clinton voters since she has kept quiet.
