Hillary Vs. Trump: Polls show many millenials turning towards Trump if they can't have Bernie

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are currently the presumed nominees of the Democratic and Republican party, however, Bernie Sanders and his devoted young supporters are not giving up just yet. They do have their various reasons, and among those is the thought that neither Trump nor Clinton compare well to Bernie from their point of view. If forced to make a decision between the two, which will they choose?

Donald Trump’s popularity among the under-30 crowd is not exactly soaring, as dislike for Hillary Clinton has reached new heights just this month. According to Fortune, 53 percent of people under 30 dislike Hillary. Fortune asserts their Clinton aversion is because of her establishment image and corporate ties.

Kei Kawashima-Ginsberg, the director of the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement at Tufts University, weighed in on projections that predict millennial voters will continue to vote within party lines....

Bernie will ultimately shill for Hillary just like Hillary did for Obama. Ultimately, they are politicians. During primaries people say things to try to sway things toward their favored lying politician. Even the number of #NeverTrumpers have diminished. It’s really a sad state when for free thinkers. On any number of issues Trump and Sanders agree (if not on the solution completely certainly on the major problems). In these same situations Hillary sees NO problem but Bernie won’t point that out because she is a registered Democrat. It’s really retarded. The same thing for average voters. It’s not wonder the country as a whole is finding it harder and harder to have common goals. Bernie thinks the trade deals are disasters. So does Trump. Hillary wants more of them. Bernie’s response, “Hillary would be vastly better than Trump”. Doesn’t even admit that Trump has some good ideas, or, like Trump does, say that Trump is, at least, aware of the problem. In the end, the undoing of the country may be because people have thrown out free thought and retreated to their political corners.

This is Clinton’s problem, even if she wins, she loses. Sanders might support and even campaign for her, but I seriously doubt his followers will follow. They will go Trump or sit out the election. Clinton is just too-establishment for these folks.

I don’t see Bernie supporters switching to Trump. These are people who think what they are told to think. As soon as Bernie is out they will be told to think that Hillary is the best thing since sliced bread. Keep in mind that doublethink is essential for this crowd so they won’t have any problem buying the idea that Hillary was an establishment shill but now she is a hero of the people.

I agree, but once Sanders starts trying to overturn the result of the popular vote by appealing to Super delegates there is a good chance he is going to look equally dubious.

I can see how a good number of Sanders supporters will switch to Trump. A lot of them are Democrats out of family tradition or the very bad "leadership" the Republican party has suffered for so long. These voters drifted dem, but what their priority is, is an outsider. The more BS the disgraced purged Republicans pull that helps hillary, the more she is the insider still running, and for no good reason. A vote for Trump becomes the only way to clean out the DC sewer.

One myth that's been dispelled this year is that of the uninformed middle and lower class voters. Every day their suffering gets worse, and the more informed they become. It's a matter of survival. Trump can OWN that "mad as *ell" vote.

I don’t think so. I think she has a fellow lesbian ready to go. She needs someone who will appeal to the under 90 crowd.

People have got to see that Hillary promises everything the left desires but ends up enriching her crony capitalist friends, reduces competition and builds government. Power, authoritarian power is her goal.

It is possible depending on where Clinton’s poll numbers are at the time. Sanders may accept also especially if it looks like she may have to step aside.

Correct.

Either way they are not going to vote for Clinton.

I don’t get it, if nobody likes Hillary why are there people willing to vote for her. The dumbing down of America is working.
