Trump always refers to the media as “the most dishonest people” and the crowd cheers. WaPo, WSJ, LA Times, MSNBC, and increasingly some at Fox News are the reason why.
I guess if a candidate is going to screw up and misspeak, it would be better to do it on Chris Matthews show than on a show and channel that people actually watch.
I guess they need something to rush the story that the prosecutor in Florida is tied to Clinton off the front page. This is rather weak.
I've also been thinking about how Cruz, who played off or ignored Donald's remarks for so long......why now did he decide to speak out against Trump for these now?
Well most men would speak up if their wife was attacked directly by their political opponent...and that was the line Trump crossed.....but I also think that Cruz clearly saw that Trump was more than willing stoop as low as he wanted to..even with Cruz himself...and that changed the dynamics then and there.... Up until then things were still reasonably civil between the two. Cruz made it very clear in this election cycle...kids and wives were off limits.....he just showed Trump indeed he meant that and the the consequences of crossing that line look like Cruz may very well not support Trump if he's the winner.

Ironic how many who point out how Trump is ‘alienating women” fail to see that they should be cheering for his statement of common sense - if abortion becomes illegal, then even those who get one should be punished (similar to punishing drug users and drug dealers, but usually to a lesser degree than the dealers). Was even more distressed when I saw that Cruz is trying to leverage this by pandering to the abortion crowd....
I think the #nevertrump folks have found their meme, and they’re gonna keep at it until he beats it or he loses.
I love it that he’s combative. That’s why I believe he would be so great. But real warriors can’t let the enemy get under their skin, and this is now a big test for Mr. Trump.
