“Where is your sense of rage at unfairness?”

That was a good one, wasn’t it. LOL

“Why should he? Trump is leading by 250 delegates. Cruz is the champion debater and policy wonk. You don’t play to your opponent’s strength.”

Thank you for your honesty on this.

“Cruz would fight the GOPe over principles. He already has, in the Senate.

Trump will ‘bend’ the rules to make deals and ‘win’, which might not be a ‘win’ for us.”

Amen.

Too bad it appears most freepers ignore both of these basic facts while they’re sullying the reputation of Cruz.

Cruz blamed Trump for the Bernie mobs - which, incidentally, a black Trump supporter was murdered on his way to a parking garage. Cruz, similarly, has had high profile supporters rescind their support. Cruz has no principles.

No, I would like to see him summon the courage to sit at a table and go straight up with Cruz on policy and constitution without any media whores involved and that is something I believe he would never dare to do.

"Maybe he changed his mind.

INSTANTLY! when Cruz offered an any time, any where response. Suddenly Trump seems to busy giving softball interviews on FAUX News.

Trump heard Romney’s speech in his 2nd home state of Utah and heard the Utah GOP cheer loudly for Mitt.

This is Trump’s way of telling both and Fox News to suck it.

Plus why let ex-Rubio voters have another look at kasich?

I bet Trump wins here in Utah.

I was one. I'll vote for Cruz before Kasich or Trump. After that, I like Trump's positions better than Kasich's, but I despise the tone of Trump's campaign so I'm still not sure I'll vote for him in the general.

Cruz blamed Trump for the Bernie mobs

Give me the exact quote where Cruz blamed trump for the Bernie mobs.

Link it.

Because Cruz said the responsibility for the actions of the protesters was with the protesters.

And don't waste my time with the quote in which Cruz is talking about how the leader of a campaign, a candidate, sets the tone of his campaign with his rhetoric and behaviour. That's just the truth. Rant from the bully pulpit and the audience gets 'fired up' and rants, too.

In that part, Cruz never said "Trump".

If the connection was that obvious, if the shoe fits, why won't y'all just wear it.

And quit with the LIE that Cruz supported violence in the streets, especially from Communists.

I think trump should fly out to the Samoan islands next week for a speech. I bet they’d appreciate it. Trump has Arizona for sure. Trump needs to spend sometime in Utah. I think trump goes 3 for 3.

Cruz “fights” the GOPe elites and loses, nothing gained except for Cruz, who makes some political capital. No thanks, better the expert deal maker who is going to make a deal and accomplish something.

You know it could very well be that Trump would have difficulty confined to a purely intellectual debate with Cruz.

Professors and Lawyers are so good at that.

What they are bad at is utilizing common sense to enact ideas that are truly sound and that reflect reality.

I meet a lot of Trump supporters. But, they won't tell me why he's afraid to debate Cruz one on one.

I've been watching/studying elections a long time. The underdog always demands more debate. Top dog always says no.

So in ANY contest, you can tell who's losing and weaker, and who's winning and stronger, by who's doing the demanding, and who's refusing.

2/3rds (or more) of the voters in this country have no idea what a “Gang of Eight” is. You know that, right?

The number is much more than 2/3. I bet that less than 5% know what was in the bill. It is far more than amnesty. I have worked on the immigration issue for over nine years lobbying on the Hill. The politicians want Americans to be ignorant so they can be easily manipulated and fooled.

Ted Cruz is someone who has had an epiphany on the issue after he saw how it was resonating among the voters.

Arizona, Utah, and Samoa are next Tuesday. We will see then.

As of right now, unless bound by the convention, America Samoa (9 delegate) will be unbound.

Arizona (58) delegates) is winner take all and leans Trump. Poll out today had it Trump +13 (but that included Rubio).

Utah (40 delegates) is winner take all if a candidate gets over 50%, but is proportional otherwise. It's very mormon. Trump doesn't do very well in mormon areas.

The only question is whether Kay-SICK has enough juice to along with Trump keep Cruz under 50. It's also a caucus, which favors Cruz.
