WASHINGTON (SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP) -- Dr. Ben Carson suspended his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination Wednesday afternoon, bringing his outsider bid for the nomination to an end, officials close to the campaign told Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Good. Now maybe he can take Rubio’s place and run for the Senate. Or maybe a department of health and human services position in government.
Carson only said he wouldn’t be at the debate. Where is the official press release of his suspension? They are jumping the gun on this.

Don’t laugh. I’m fully expecting Dr C to show up this evening on cable news saying, “Sure, I’m skipping the debate. And, yes, it’s true that I put out a statement that I see no path to the nomination. But suspending my campaign?! Heavens, no! This is just more of the same dirty tricks that We The People are so tired of. I’m not going anywhere!”
I actually hope he takes Glen Beck’s advice and runs for Senator of Florida. I think he could do very well and win it. I mean the stooges on the Democratic side are a joke. Al Grayson????? Lord help the county with him. I know only Florida is affected but I can see him running for President in 2024.
I’m a little disappointed he dropped out. Were there no takers for his ‘let’s be civil’ pre-debate sit-down?

Maybe you should check your sources. It was CNN that reported it the 1st time followed by Rubio before Cruz’s team said anything. But then since you hate Cruz facts don’t really matter, do they?

Trump needs to announce that he’s skipping the debate. Let the three remaining losers debate with the Faux News lowered.
Show me one person that has declared under oath they changed their caucus vote because of any tweet, post or other communication from ANYONE about Ben Carson the night of the Iowa Caucus?

Not quite. Whoever in the campaign it was that tweeted took the on-air musings of some talking head (not a report, just the musings of somebody that it was strange that Carson was going to Florida) and used that as justification to claim that Carson was dropping out.
Keep waiting. Whether or not a lie has the intended impact is independent of the act of lying itself.
