Agreed. 2DV performs a valuable service for us. As a former intelligence guy he knows what it means to go out into the interwebs and bring back what the enemy is thinking. To crawl through the bowels of liberalism that is Salon, Slate, Huffpo and DU. He has a better constitution than I do.
2DV: I've been meaning the mention that because I read a lot of what you bring us and wanted to say thank you for that.
Thank you both.
Your very welcome. I really appreciate all you do here on FR.
I’ve been following the Cruz/Trump war for awhile now. Haven’t commented much. Just observed. And what I have observed is you. For a couple of weeks now. You are on a hair trigger. You make a good pretense of being the big bad alpha male, but I don’t buy it. I think you’re scared. And being scared, you’ve allowed yourselves to be swept up in the emotionalism and populism that being a Trump supporter requires. You need to re-evaluate exactly what it is you’re trying to accomplish.
McCain got the votes he got because of Palin, not in spite of. McCain was a dull liberal establishment democrat. Oh wait? He was a republican???
By your effort, were you trying to smear Sarah Palin?
FAIL.
Oh please. A quick perusal of your posting history shows that your FR contribution amounts to calling people delusional cruzbot a**holes. So let's not pretend you're some voice of reason and calm whose reached their breaking point. It's your entire modus operandi . As I said, I've been reading your posts for awhile now and it all amounts to the same thing. You're quite the hysteric.
So it's understandable that you can't countenance any criticism of Trump. You're too emotionally invested. It might be time to take a break. Because I'm not going to get out of your way. I hope you get that. Because I'm the person you described. I'm the one whose been silent and beware the fury of a patient man.
I am not surprised that Sarah Palin would endorse Trump. She can see Russia from her house. Trump can see Russians around his house.
I admire your fortitude after such a mis-characterization of your posts. It’s going to be a high blood pressure year.
I wholeheartedly agree.
I’d be perfectly happy voting for Ted Cruz for POTUS, but I’d be even more pleased to vote for a Trump/Cruz ticket, and again in four years, and four years after that for Cruz and his running mate.
“before you get mean” ? Ooh we are all so frightened.. NOT!
Thanks

Now that is funny. :^)
TRUMP (PRAISE HIS NAME - MAY HE DELIVER US FROM THE DESERT) can also see Russians & Ukrainians working around his resorts/hotels/casinos using the visas his organization helped them get.
You? A decent FR poster? Ha!
“Cruz has the brains and the knowledge to guide Trump once they are in office.”
That goes both ways. Trump has other, more important qualities for a president, that would guide Cruz once they were in office. Brains and knowledge are good things, and there are plenty of those people. Having the ability to read people, negotiate, stand tough in spite pressure, say the right thing at the right time — DO something, not just think — are what we need now. Trump has those qualities. Cruz might be able to learn from Trump, although I’m starting to believe that his qualities are innate and can’t be taught.
Trump has a broader knowledge base than Cruz, having been successful in so many disciplines. Cruz is pretty much limited to law and government. Trump also has successes in law and government, but from the other side of the table, which would be beneficial. Trump has additional skills, in the real world, that Cruz lacks.
I also could support either guy for president against any liberal. Prefer trump in 2016 because — what you said — he has the cash and the balls to win.
“She can see Russia from her house.”
Now, why would you say something that ridiculous? You’re not one of those people who actually believe she said that, are you?

He was joking...and it was a pretty funny joke IMHO. And, of course, he understands that it was Tina Fey who said that on Saturday night live.
I assumed he was kidding — hoped so.
And it was funny until it actually impacted the campaign. Voters believed she said it, according to exit interviews done in ‘08. True; they were low-I.Q. voters but... they vote and they walk among us.
