Trump: Ted Cruz Is ‘A Nasty Guy’ [VIDEO]
The Daily Caller ^ | January 17, 2016 | Steve Guest

Donald Trump slammed Sen. Ted Cruz insisting, "Look, the truth is, he's a nasty guy."

Appearing on ABC's "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos in an interview airing on Sunday, Trump said, "Nobody likes him [Cruz]. Nobody in congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him. He's a very - he's got an edge that's not good. You can't make deals with people like that and it's not a good thing.

Stephanopoulos asked Trump, "Is it now a two-person race between you and Ted Cruz?"

"No, I don't think so. I think there are other people, but I don't think a lot of people have a great chance. I don't think Ted Cruz has a great chance to be honest with you," Trump argued.....

So when is Cruz going to post the Janet Jackson “Nasty” video to Twitter? Seems like a good response, lol.

Cant wait for Cruz to kick Trump’s arse in IA. And Trump knows it’s going to get bloody.

Cruz is a very smart guy. He will remember not to take the bait on any of the stuff that Trump is throwing out there. Trump will not file a suit, primarily because it wouldn't produce a result, any result, in time to matter before the election.

Cool thing is that everyone’s posting history is there for all to see.

It’s one of the better features of the board.

Nope. You just posted it. But, without a doubt, there are a lot of really nasty supporters of him here.

No, you are not alone, stevem.
As the field shrinks, DT gets more free media attention, and the spotlight falls on his incessant trash talk, along with his specious attacks on the remaining potential nominees.
I don’t hide my support of Cruz. I think he is the most intelligent, articulate, bold conservative in the lot.
The fact that DT continues to ride near the top of most of the polls is equal parts his free media circus, the diluted attention of the prospective electorate, and his willingness to degrade anyone on the flimsiest of notions.
I rather imagine he will fall from grace well before the convention.

You’ve got that right. Then again, Trump is such a low-intelligence jerk, he doesn’t know what it looks like when a known bully starts squealing - he loses his power to bully.

Invincible Donald Chump just looks like a whiny loser. He can dish it out but cries when he isn’t met with adoration. Sound like Obama?

I am a committed Conservative. Check my history of Free Republic posts. I have been a consistently conservative Freeper for almost 16 years (I was a lurker for a couple of years before that). When I was in college, I had the honor of actively supporting and campaigning for Ronald Reagan for President, both in 1980 and 1984. It has been all downhill since then.

I am also one of the roughly 60 to 70% of Republican voters (depending on the poll) who do not currently support Trump. For Trump to win the Republican nomination he is going to have to win over at least some of us. For Trump to then beat Hillary he is going to have to convince nearly all of us to actively and enthusiastically support his campaign.

I have an open mind on Trump. Moreover, if Trump is going to be the Republican nominee I desperately want to believe that he is a conservative. If we don't elect a conservative President next year then I don't see any way that our nation can come back.

Four Supreme Court Justices (one conservative, one moderate, and two far left wing liberals) will be over 80 years old next year. Of the remaining five Justices, two are young far left-wing liberals appointed by Obama and one (Roberts) is at best a moderate. If even three of the four octogenarian Justices are replaced with young liberals then a far left-wing oligarchy will be ruling the Court and every aspect of our lives for the next 30 years.

On the other hand, we need to replace all four of the octogenarian Justices with truly conservative Justices to take back the Court. Historically, Republican Presidents have batted no better than 50/50 picking conservative Supreme Court nominees.

So all of you Trump supporters, don't attack us non-believers, convince us.

I know and have known many wealthy New York Republicans in my life. I spent the first half of the 1990s working for Wall Street firms. In my experience, most wealthy Republicans from New York City and other large northeastern cities ideologically fall somewhere between Guiliani and Bloomberg, in what used to be referred to as the Nelson Rockefeller wing of the Republican party. I honestly have seen nothing of Trump's record before his current campaign to suggest that he is any more conservative than Michael Bloomberg (another New York billionaire who ran for office as a Republican).

Why do you believe that Trump is a conservative and not just a very gifted salesman who knows how to tell his audience what they want to hear?

Just to remind everyone of what was actually said...

Cruz: "Trump embodies New York values"... (asked to explain)... "Listen, there are many, many wonderful, wonderful working men and women in the state of New York. But everyone understands that the values in New York City are socially liberal or pro-abortion or pro-gay-marriage, focus around money and the media."

That's what Cruz SAID... "wonderful, socially liberal, pro-abortion, pro-gay-marriage, money, media"... that's it... and the MSM has turned it into a brawl within the conservative circles like Freerepublic. Any fellow New Yorker who gets dragged into whining about NYC being called THAT is an idiot. We all know that NYC IS socially liberal, is focused on money and media, and is wonderful. Which point do you wish to argue?
