Washington (CNN)âIowa Gov. Terry Branstad predicted Thursday that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump would lose his state's caucuses, despite the billionaire developer's continued perch atop the polls there.
"I think it will change between now and February 1. I have a lot of confidence in the Iowa voters in making that decision," Branstad told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day."(continued)

Apparently this is the year where every elected official refuses to butt out and let the voters voice their opinion. The snide tone is gross.

Didn’t Iowa pick obama? Who cares what they think. Primaries should be settled in a one day event, this dragging on so the MSM can swing things is stupid.

Every one of these elected fools that stand and deride Trump, I’m sure, have found themselves on a Trump database, for when he IS the President.
Dear elected officials,
it’s called leverage.

The disdain for “we the people” is palpable. I have never seen such a concerted effort by the GOP to go against a DEM as much as they are going after Trump and Cruz.

Sometimes you will never know if you dont ask. What does GOPe stand for? I looked it up but couldnt find anything. Is GOPe related to dope?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
The GOPe will split the party in order to keep the outsiders from destroying the gravy train.

How many refugees are scheduled to go to Iowa? How many do they have now?

Iowa is famous for taking in refugees. Had many Hmong, Vietnamese and Cambodians after the war and there are scads of Somalis and Bosnians, too.
