Belief among Republicans that Donald Trump is their next likely presidential candidate continues to rise despite his condemnation by nearly all the other GOP candidates for proposing a temporary ban on immigrants from Muslim countries.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 70% of Likely Republican Voters now believe Trump is likely to be their partyâs nominee, with 31% who say itâs Very Likely. This overall figure is up from 68% last week but still falls short of the surveyâs all-time high of 74% in late October. Interestingly, however, the number who say a Trump nomination is Very Likely has moved very little.
Only 27% of GOP voters think Trump is unlikely to win the nomination, with 10% who say itâs Not At All Likely.

30% are still in denial that their candidate can’t get off the ground.
I've been reading "it's a ban on Muslims"
Which on is correct? ...
But, Glenn Beck says that Trump is like Hitler, and everyone should be afraid of him.
Are you serious? It is a temporary ban until we can get this thing under control. The FBI admitted they are falling behind and their workload is increasing.
If we assume that it comes down to Trump or Cruz, I think it’s going to depend on how the Rubio voters divide. I think Cruz will get the Huckabee voters and probably the bulk of the Fiorina voters, though I imagine some will jump ship to the Democrat side. Trump stands to pick up the voters from Christie and Kasich (again, minus defectors to the Dems), but the Rubio numbers (which I think will include a good chunk of Bush supporters, presuming that he bows out first), are going to be the ones to watch.
Originally Trump came out saying NO Muslims should be allowed into the USA until we figure out what exactly is going on inside our country with radical Islam. I translate that to mean temporary.
But that is not to say we couldn’t make is permanent. What most people do not know is that our government has not allowed any Fascists from WWII-era Germany to come into our nation. It is the law. We discover former German fascists living and working here, we exile them.
So, can we ban Muslims, temporarily and/or permanently? Yes we can, and our legal system allows it.
Glenn Beck changed when he converted to Mormonism. I do not listen to him anymore.
Glenn should run back to the fence to give out more stuffed animals.
Its beginning to look a lot like Trump. :-)

I’m dreaming of a Trump White House.
