Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., says his Senate colleague Ted Cruz is the Republican presidential hopeful with whom he has the sharpest disagreement and singled out the Texan’s vote against the National Defense Authorization Act as the chief reason.

During a discussion of this year’s 2016 GOP presidential hopefuls, Newsmax asked McCain which three he felt had the best records on national security and which three had the worst.

“I don’t like to duck a question,” he replied, with a laugh, and restated his support for South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham....

I chose Cruz because he disagrees most with McCain and with Romney, and because he does the best job of disagreeing when those two big government RINOs are wrong.

I’m surprised he didn’t say “Cruz reminds me too much of Sarah Palin.”

McCain gave the Presidency to Obama and he favors Lindsey as the nominee. He will endorse Hilliary in the general.

Yeah, I thought he said "we had nothing to fear from Obama as President."

Scum.

Remember, this is the guy who endorsed Ebola (his opponent) in 2008.

I don't now why the McCains and Grahams of the GOP don't just make it official and switch parties.

Palin’s the only reason he came as close as he did. Any other running mate would have made the difference even worse.

I take every opportunity to relay that info about McCain when discussing politics with friends.
McCain needs this stamped on his forehead.
I loathe that little man McCain.

That’s because he knows Ted Cruz isn’t just talking when he says Benghazi will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law under a Cruz administration.

Wow. McCain says Rubio is "part of a new generation of Republican leaders."

McCain is bearing gifts here!

The oligarchy fears Trump. They know he is electable and uncontrollable.

You should have the good sense to fear those qualities, too -- because neither is Trump predictable. He has zero political compass -- look at his history. Every voter should fear the fantasy of voting for that thinking they can get away with it without being frequently disappointed at best with the results.

Nowadays, I only vote for what I know I want to win. Beyond generalized platitudes like "Make America great again," nobody knows what Trump really stands for, so they have no idea what they're voting to win. They only know what they hope it will be.

The best thing about Cruz is the quality of his enemies.
