Let's zero in on a telling moment in Tuesday night's Republican presidential debate.
A little more than halfway in, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) got into a heated back-and-forth about how much to spend on America's military, with Rubio accusing Paul of being an isolationist and Paul accusing Rubio of wanting to spend too much on defense and bankrupting the country.
The exchange was so contentious that other candidates wanted to get involved, lest a key moment pass by without their input. Many of them tried to interject all at once.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) jumped in to say, hey, there's a middle ground between the two.
Donald Trump cut in: "We have to make our military bigger, better and stronger than ever before."
Carly Fiorina moved to jump in, and John Kasich also attempted to have his voice heard before the moderator cut them all off and moved on.
You notice whose name we didn't mention yet? Jeb Bush, who stayed silent throughout the whole thing....

Between his bad debating and his horrible policy stances, he’s not going to do well.
Because he doesn't have anything worthwhile to say???
I think it is because he supports really stupid ideas.
Has nothing to do with his debate skills.
He’s just wrong, and it shows.

I haven’t a clue why he is even on the stage. Is anyone on his side?
I don’t know how he ever got elected governor of Florida.
And I probably voted for him.
I sure wonder how that reported conference call with his owners/donors went last night. Has anyone heard?

I wonder why he stays in the race? Does he know something we don’t? Will he buy the nomination?

Yebs ain’t tanking from his poor debate skills but it sure doesn’t help it either. Trump’s not a great debator so there’s more factors involved.
Boy Wonder Rubio shines at debates but he’s a dud offstage.
C’mon he didn’t murder Terri. He just didn’t take that last brave step to save her. This fact is more of a hidden anchor keeping Yebs down. Back then I was soooooo high on Jebs saving her but he wimped out. Since then I have a lower opinion of him—too bad really.

You’re right, but I’m also right. His ideas are wrong and he’s a dorky Rino twit in the way he expresses his wrong ideas. I find him preachy and sanctimonious, like the kid who rats out that the class got hold of the answers before the test. Just annoying.
