"Steve Deace, an Iowa-based talk-radio host who has endorsed Cruz, says that as far back as August of 2013, Cruz was asking him to set up meetings with top Iowa activists."

So Cruz gets elected to the Senate Nov, 2012 is seated in the Senate Jan 3, 2013 and by August of 2013 a mere 7 months later he is already planning his run for the presidency? Am I the only one that thinks a Junior senator with only 7 months in office is really full of himself to even be contemplating a POTUSA run.

A number of Senators have complained the Cruz is playing politics in the Senate and not doing the work of the Senate. Cruzs' filibuster was in Sept 2013, after he has decided to run for POTUSA, was that politics too? This piece lends credibility to that claim.

Three, less then one terms Senators running for president, really? Less then one term in the Senate and we should trust you with the presidency? I think not.

On the H1b thing, Ted Cruz said at the time that he didn’t expect to see it passed because the gang of 8 wouldn’t like the strict enforcement provisions in it.

I don’t expect low info voters to pay any real attention but I post it anyway for those who really do want to educate themselves.

Civil liberties gets a green when Cruz voted to renew the Patriot Act? Your rating are a joke. Cruz never says what he would do with most of the illegal here, translation, amnesty.

Nice find. Certainly lends weight to questions some have WRT Cruz's overweening political ambitions. He woke up the next morning as a Texas Senator, looked in the mirror and saw a president looking back at him.

My gripe is Canadian-born Cruz has dined out too long on his father's name......touting himself as a full-fledged latino. His mother is Italian/Irish.

In the current divide and conquer strategy, the political exercise dividing Americans by sucking up to ethnics is one Cruz has not been shy about using. Presents himself as a "latino" to 2016 voters, to Texans...and the Senate biographer....claiming he's the first "latino" elected from Texas.

There's a strain of vengeful "us against them" latinoism in Cruz, I fear.

BTW, dual-citizen Cruz renounced his Canadian citizenship.... recently.

The Rats will eat Cruz alive on being born in Canada to a Cuban father. I am not up on the details but I have read that his parents applied for Canadian citizenship. Also there is a process for children of Americans born abroad to be considered NBC. It requires the parents registering the birth at a US embassy or consulate. Doing so would make the child a US citizen only. Cruzs parents did not do that.

This is a very important issue, there are lots of American trophy wives married to Arab and Iranian husbands. Are their children also to be considered NBC? Yassar Arafat had an American wife are Yassar Arafats' kids eligible to be POTUSA?

Folks say O set the president that you do not have to be a NBC to be president but that is incorrect. O claimed to be born in Hawaii are provided documentation to back that claim up. Cruz can make no such claim. Should Cruz gain traction he is going to hear a lot more on this issue.

And you trust a Liberal who has just turned ‘Conservative’ a few months ago!

"Its really kind of pathetic that you feel so threatened by Ted Cruz that you people must infect every thread about Ted Cruz with your worship of your liberal God King."?

Did you note her positive use of the word "adoring" to describe Trump's bots?

These people are not conservatives and they don't want a Constititutional solution. They want a dictator, a cult leader, someone they can fawn over. They are just like Obamabots. There are some on this forum who would scream themselves mute at a Trump rally and prostrate themselves before him, just to touch his clothing.

But I find it intriguing that, despite their hooting over Trump's inevitability, they still feel the need to troll every Cruz thread, maligning the only true conservative in the race.

If they think Cruz isn't a threat, why do they bother?

I know he's making grand promises he'll never be able to keep if he intends to remain within constitutional boundaries. What's he going to do, pay congress to vote his way?

Care to comment on my observation about children of American women married to Arab and Iranian terrorists?

One should be very careful when setting a precedent.

Do you think the Rats are going to leave this issue alone? The Rats went after McCain on the NBC things. And McCain had two American parents deployed by the US Navy in service to their country.

If they are legally eligible, they can run.

Period.

He won't need to. It's that Trump magnetism. Congress will fall under the spell of his amazingness and do his bidding.

Honestly I don’t think you’re intelligent enough to safely handle a ballot anyway.

I post coherent comments that plainly explain what I think and why I think it but mostly I just get insults as rebuttals. Sad, oh well.

And maybe your candidate could find his sack and use the issue himself if its so important.
