But the normal rules of politics don't apply to Donald Trump, who broke all of them during his visit to the Iowa State Fair on Saturday. Waht rules? Trump can't be bought, influenced, threatened or controlled.
never arrive by helicopter, leave your entourage at home
There is an LZ there for candidates and I'm sure Hillbillary left her astroturf behind.

Not a particularly decorous post. “Broken at the wheel.” Really? How midieval.

"There are a few golden rules when it comes to campaigning in Iowa"
"Golden rules"? In other words, whatever CNN decides are the rules for the moment. They must be scratching the bottom of the barrel for something to throw against Trump if arriving by helicopter is breaking the rules.
Unlike the "rules" (laws) that exist to protect government email communications, which are nonobligatory, of course.

Interesting hypothesis. Would MS be consistent with that that minor stroke (or something like that) diagnosis a few years ago?

All I know is that Annette Funicello suffered from Multiple Scleroris, and was accused of being a drunk - which she was not. She staggered and fell, and slurred her speech - and finally came out and told America of her illness. So, I’m just saying either Hillary drinks a lot or has symptoms similar to MS.

CNN making stuff up out of whole cloth.
Trump copter landed near the Fair, not on the fairgrounds. No space for a large LZ on the fairgrounds itself at the last minute.
The Soapbox, like a lot of fair stuff, is just a bit of fun, and is sponsored by the little Democrat blog Des Moines Register. Sen Joni Ernst has shown the way by just ignoring the Register.
Having pork chop on a stick IS a rule, however.

I have intimate knowledge of MS. The symptoms are all over the map making it hard to diagnose. Some people lose motor control---sometimes fast, as it destroys nerve transmissions via lesions on the spine---and above all it almost universally produces fatigue. Every MS patient is different. I know two, diagnosed for 20 years, with very little progression, no noticeable symptoms, while others (ESP men) go the way of Annette Funicello very fast.
So it's a little reckless to say, because someone stumbles, they have MS. And even it true, many, like Ann Romney, have a pretty normal life.

That was in the days before they really had any beta sermons tha slowed the progress of the disease. EVERY patient progresses-—or regresses-—differently. Some not at all. I know a woman who took no MS drugs, and after 20 years is pretty much “normal.” The pres of my university was diagnosed back in the 80s. I think he is on meds, but he still walks without a walker or cane. One new theory is that if it doesn’t really progress rapidly or steadily, some people go into a permanent kind of stasis with the disease and don’t get worse.

Forget the botox. Haven’t seen the video, but what SpaceBar describes sounds like Tardive Dyskinesia, as a result of prolonged taking of anti-pyschotic medicines.
Couple this with her behavior during Bill’s term, described in Aldritch’s book, indicates a long term psych ailment that has been treated with anti-psychotics.

This BS about her doctor’s note stating she’s fit to campaign is a smoke screen.
She of course will not release any medical records.
I’ve seen this with a friend’s son before he was institutionalized. Sad and frightening. This is seen quite often in the street ‘crazies’.

Poor Maeve, The Donald breaks all the rules at the Ohio State Fair and is celebrated, Hillary breaks a few rules and is threatened with treason.
I know Ms Reston, it just isn't fair.

The strategy stood in sharp contrast to Hillary Clinton, who lost the caucuses here in 2008 after she also broke some of this state's cherished rules.
