Sen. Lindsey Graham (R- S.C.) is not only doing badly in the polls, hes also doing poorly on social media.
Facebook, which is typically a good measure of support for presidential candidates, didnt light up Monday when Graham announced his 2016 bid for president.
Grahams announcement generated a paltry 142,000 Facebook interactions meaning likes, posts, and comments from just 84,000 people in a 24-hour period, according to CBS News.
Of the 10 announced Republican candidates, Graham trails everyone except Former New York Gov. George Pataki who had just 81,000 interactions from 59,000 people.
Most of Grahams interactions came from his home state of South Carolina and most posts likely associated his name with foreign policy.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) received the most Facebook interactions of the Republican presidential field, with 5.7 million and 1.9 million interactions, respectively.
It must pain Graham to be losing to Paul given that the Kentucky senators foreign policy positions have often been a source of ire for Graham.
According to CBS News, all Republican candidates are being eclipsed by Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton on Facebook, who had 10.1 million interactions from 4.7 million people in the same time frame.
Senator Graham’s high water mark was the impeachment of President Clinton when, as a congressman, he said the President was up at 2am and nothing good happens at 2am.
That was 17 years ago. Long enough for my daughter born that year to be driving.
Goodbye Lindsey.
Loafer boy is a loser.
Linda who?
But this can’t be...Graham’s a moderate! Shouldn’t independents and the Hispanic vote be liking him?
“...Hillary Clinton on Facebook, who had 10.1 million interactions from 4.7 million people in the same time frame.”
They don’t indicate if these are all showing her in a positive light. What if the majority of them were posts slamming her.
Unlike most problems, Graham will go away if you ignore it.
Hahahhahaha!
That includes jokes about it too??
Nobody wants Grahamnesty in the race except The Cheap Labor Express.
Hillary is reaping what she has sown.
Just like she pays LIVoters to show up at her book signings, LIVs are being paid to boost her social media numbers. Nothing with her is ever done on the up and up.
It it, in any way, conceivable that Linda Graham could lose the SC Primary?
