WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will be a keynote speaker at next months NC Republican Party State Convention.
Cruz, a US Senator from Texas, will keynote a luncheon reception on Saturday, June 6, at the Raleigh Convention Center.
The GOP says the conventions other featured speakers include Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who may also run for president next year, Donald Trump and Amb. John Bolton, who is expected to announce tomorrow if he will run for the White House.
I think that Bolton is an interesting guy.
He’s an interesting guy and would be a great President, but my word, he’s so staid and pedantic that he makes John McCain look lively and dynamic. I sure hope he doesn’t crowd up the field because he has no chance to be the nominee. I guess maybe he could do at least some good if he siphoned off some votes from Jeb.
I have wanted to see him run for the last two cycles, but realistically I think that he has next to no chance. I still think that he would make an excellent VP.

GREAT!
But Trump?
Trump is a big yawn, as far as I’m concerned. I’ve never seen what people see in him — even before he decided to get political. He’s like the little boy acting up in the back of the clasroom to distract the teacher.
He sure loves himself. Run or don’t run and then get out of the way. He demands and get attention.
Trump is for American jobs, and bringing manufacturing right back here.
So yes, Trump.
Hes an interesting guy and would be a great President,
He COULD have been a great President if he would have done something with the UN when he was Ambassador so long. Instead of getting rid of it, he made it stronger. I was expecting so much from him but he was the get along guy.
