Jeb Bush is shaping his still unannounced campaign around the Latino vote
Fox News Latino ^ | May 1, 2015

Javier Palomarez, president of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, recently said he believes any new U.S. president will only be elected to office if he or she openly courts Latino voters.

He was speaking to Sen. Ted Cruz, who is of Cuba descent, during a question-and-answer session in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. But it’s something that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush seems to have taken to heart.

Bush, who has yet to announce he will seek the Republican presidential nomination, has been actively courting the Hispanic community.

It doesn’t seem to matter to the former Florida governor that Hispanic voters typically do not have much to say in Republican primaries – he has been shaping his young political operation and strengthening his ties with Hispanic voters who will be important in the head-to-head contest for the presidency in 2016...

This pandering should be seen as the equivalent of a white supremacist running. "I will raise the white man back up to the position he deserves!!"

No one would say that was OK.

But pandering to blacks? Pandering to Hispanics? Sure! Why not! Got to represent the peeps, yo!

Citizens of other countries who are in our country illegally should not be voting.
Any politician pandering to illegal aliens should be shunned.

Jeb Bush is shaping his still unannounced campaign around the Latino vote

Might work in the general election, but won't work in the primary. Not enough of them are registered Republicans.

But this strategy would seem to have the ring of truth about it. Perhaps he's counting on the GOPe to get him through the primary.

What a scum bag. As I've said before, if he becomes the nominee, i'll be supporting the Democrat running against him. We either turn this ship or sink it.

[Hispanic voters typically do not have much to say in Republican primaries]

TED CRUZ is following in the George W. Bush tradition - 40% of the Hispanic Vote...

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, suggested Republicans can win significant percentages of the Hispanic electorate while demanding border security take place before any legalization of illegal immigrants, citing his own experience as a candidate in Texas.

“In my race in Texas — Texas is a majority-minority state — over 40 percent of the Hispanics in Texas voted for me in the Senate race, and I was very clear in the race from day one in opposing amnesty and supporting border security and improving legal immigration,” Cruz told Rush Limbaugh Wednesday. “With the Hispanic voters, supporting border security, supporting legal immigration, supporting rule of law is a principled position.”

In the 2004 presidential election, George W. Bush — who pushed for an immigration reform bill unsuccessfully — won 44 percent of the Hispanic vote. Unfortunately, major media exit polling didn’t include Texas in 2012.

Customs-avoider Jeb would not let Terry Schiavo vote;
but will let any criminal illegal from any country vote.

Bullsh*t. 65% of the population - whites - will determine the outcome of the next election, only our political classes seem too stupid to realize it.

Well-said, Fungi. Eliminate the oligarchs and their tangled, deceitful web of totalitarianism.

/Bush-Clinton…different sides of neo-socialism who have done nothing to dismantle the BIG GOVERNMENT leviathan.

live - free - republic, or die subdued with a tax burden passed to your grandchildren's grandchildren.

Well why wouldn't they accept him? The clintoons have SO MUCH more in common with the Bushes than the Bushes with us. World union government. Big money. Nothing in common with the common man anymore. Decisions based on making their families richer. Reminds me of Rob the Bruce's father in Braveheart.
