Going to be a mean, short tempered Cajun for a while I suppose, LOL!

When I quit 40 yrs ago I carried beef jerky in my pocket. I think it helped.
Had sore jaw muscles for a while but never smoked again.

She has a residence in Arizona. You didn’t know that, huh?

Sarah would have to overcome the carpetbagger issue if she ran. Of course, in the eyes of the MSM, carpetbagging didn't matter when Hillary ran but you can be sure that it would now.

Now that’s an interesting thought. He also has a background in third party politics.

I will note that I don’t think that any of the Palin family is likely to run anytime soon.

Y’all do whatever you need to get off those coffin nails. I would have loved to have had the gum as an option.

The good news about quitting Is that if you’re successful you’ll get to live longer and feel a whole lot better. The bad news is you’ll probably never lose the craving. I don’t crave the cigs, but I still really want a good cigar. I just don’t buy them.

Can’t stand McCain, but I don’t think he was being dismissive of Palin. He seems to be saying she has let him know she won’t be running for public office.

I have been saying for eons here, He is the guy that should run. He can relate to so many people, he is quiet in sort of a Mr Smith goes to Washington kind of way...

* A small business owner
* A Union Guy
* Understands the Energy Business
* A man's man, can fix or operate any vehicle ( snowmobile, Super Cub on Floats, Cessna 185 on Amphibs etc etc )
* Quasi Mr Mom so he understands family and raising kids.
* A guy who built his home.
* And a Hunter.

Tell me any of the fartknockers in the Senate especially the likes of a Collins, Graham, Durbin and Smuckey Chumer and the rest of the neerdowells that have a Resume like that that can reflect our values...

I yield the floor :-)...

There’s a big difference between being emminently qualified for a job and wanting to do it. Ask yourself: would you trade the life that he has to move to the beltway and deal with the likes of reid, mcconnell, schumer et al?

Didn’t think so. I suspect she is thinking along the same lines. Hence why I think a palin candidacy anytime in the forseeable future is unlikely.

I respectfully return the floor...

Gov.Sarah Palin has already stated publicly that she will not seek a Senate seat. It is a ‘comedown’ for a former governor.

She would do better holding out for a presidential candidacy.

Whether she said it or not, you are absolutely correct. Sarah Palin isn't going to run for the Senate in Arizona, Alaska or any other state. What a waste of talent and her time that would be.

The only office I can see her running for is president. I also wouldn't rule out her accepting a cabinet post in the right administration IF she could see where her presence would actually matter. You don't leave Alaska for DC unless it really does matter.

With any luck mother nature will defeat Juan McLame before 2016.

Go Sarah!

"Decided to go cold turkey, probably if I reach my goal of 215 or not by the 1st."

That's the way I did it, back in '01. Doc had put me on Welbutrin for two or three months, but that didn't help and ran out, and THEN I quit cold turkey.

I think a VP West would be very helpful.

That's how I did it also the first time after I retired.
Stayed off of them 8 years, then I tore up my knee and have been off and on them ever since for the following 7 years.
Time to seriously quit again.

I spent some time in AZ. Everybody there is from somewhere else, so the “carpetbagger” thing just might not apply.
