William F. Buckley Jr worked for the CIA and was a senior NWO "influencer" on the "conservative" side.

Elite finance places their own intellectual minions in positions as pundits so they can effectively define what both sides of every debate are.

In the case of conservatives, no one then actually listens to conservative rank-and-file, they look to the likes of Buckley to define what all conservatives think and feel.

Buckey was the Karl Rove of his day. One of the elite GOP-e libertarians. Since sis demise, the National Review has become more of a liberal rag than before.
