The New Republic magazine was, appropriately, the stimulant that last week gave the Democratic base a frisson of anticipation about a possible Elizabeth Warren presidential candidacy in 2016. Now in her 11th month as a Massachusetts senator, she is suited to carry the progressive torch that was fueled 99 years ago this month by The New Republics founding.
Its first editor was Herbert Croly, whose 1909 book The Promise of American Life Theodore Roosevelt read it, rapturously, during his post-presidential travels is progressivisms primer: The average American individual is morally and intellectually inadequate to a serious and consistent conception of his responsibilities as a democrat, so national life should be a school. The exigencies of such schooling frequently demand severe coercive measures, but what schooling does not? And a people are saved many costly perversions if the official schoolmasters are wise, and the pupils neither truant nor insubordinate.
Today the magazine, whose birth was partly financed by a progressive heiress, Dorothy Payne Whitney, is owned by Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes. Warren, a scourge of (other) economic royalists, and especially of large financial institutions, is a William Jennings Bryan for our time: She has risen from among Harvards downtrodden to proclaim: You shall not crucify mankind upon a cross of derivatives.(continued)

Cankles and Lieawatha - losers both.
New kid look like old bat.
Run Liz, Liz.
One is a stalking horse for the other - which is the real candidate and which is the stalking horse?
They didn't want here in '08, and turned to a magic Negro instead.
So why not a fake Indian in '16?
When Lieawatha was asked about Obamacare, she said “Black man speak with forked tongue.”
The DEMS seem to have great success with her lie.
I see a cat fight in the ‘RATS’ future. Hillary is a loser. “People of color” are obstacles to her White House dream. LOL! First an “African American” whose ancestors never picked one ball of cotton and now a “Native American” whose sacred buffalo diet consists only of the wings.
Little known fact: Lizzy Warren’s indian name, Fauxcahontas Fakajawea, translates into “Practiced Law Without License”.
We have a fake Kenyan half breed black man there now, why not a fake Indian.
No need to worry, the Republican Party will ensure the election of a Democrat in 2016 as they run New Jersey Trans-fats as their nominee and lose for the 3rd time in 16 years.
LIZ WARREN???
These people are so hilarious. If you asked a Dem voter what they liked about Elizabeth Warren, the answer would be something along the lines of, “Um. I liked what she said that time. And she was on TV a lot, so I guess she’s popular. And she’s a Native woman and we’ve never had one of them for president. So, cool.”
The Dummies are going nuts over Warren 2016. The forums are draped with laughable Warren/Grayson signatures. Hitlery is old news for the ever more loony left.
The future is bright the first Hispanic- the mayor of San Antonio-the first gay president -Cory Booker and finally their children.
Just when you thought you couldnt get worse that hamhocks, Warren is a red blooded marxist a-hole
Dems are not vetted. There is nothing in Warren's past that will sink her. Note that there ARE things in her past that SHOULD sink her -- but they will not be discussed. Dems are not vetted.
But, I will remind everyone that the RNC spent $150,000 on clothing for Sarah Palin when she became that VP nominee, and that pretty much made her unelectable. Just because.
The leftists who elevate incompetent leftist candidates have the nerve to tell Republicans who our candidates should be and are taken seriously by GOPe!
Please, please God, let the Indian Princess challenge Mrs. Clinton in the primaries. Please. Please. Please.
