Gun Control? We don't have the votes, says Reid

Harry Reid has vowed to continue working on extended background checks for gun owners, but concedes that he doesn't have the votes to pass it. But Vice President Joe Biden claimed that several republicans told him they had changed their mind. Where are they. In the wake of the Washington Naval Yard shootings, many democrats were hopeful to pass new gun legislation.

Background checks certainly worked well at the Navy Yard.

The guy had a SECRET clearance.

Increasing distrust in Government will make gun control, Obamacare implementation and amnesty impossible.

Since mental health issues are covered by medical confidentiality, a background check would not have prevented Alexis from getting a gun legally.

If I were a conservative in the Senate, it would be extremely difficult NOT to (&*&! with Joe Biden at every opportunity. He’s such an easy target!

Hey Joe, I changed my vote on gun control. I was going to vote “no”

Now I’m voting “HELL NO!”
