Sen. Marco Rubio took to the floor of the U.S. Senate Wednesday afternoon, to address concerns that have arisen from some grassroots conservatives over his support of immigration reform.
“I have received numerous emails and calls from conservatives and tea party activists,” he said at the beginning of his remarks.
“To hear the worry, anxiety, and growing anger in the voices of so many people who helped me get elected to the Senate, who I agree with on virtually every other issue, has been a real trial for me,” he confessed.
But he said he told them that he would go to Washington to “fight to stop what is bad for America,” and that what we have now is, in fact, hurting America. ”I simply wasn’t going to leave it to Democrats alone to try to figure out how to fix it.”
“I got involved because I knew that if conservatives didn’t get involved in shaping this legislation, it would not have any border security reforms our nation desperately needs,” Rubio said....

I will never vote for him on any ticket. Not only is it bad legislation that adds to our debt, he forced it down the throat without allowing others to read what was in it. He ‘s a punk for doing that and he’s an intellectual light-weight.
He kept saying “not true...that’s not in there...it doesn’t do that”. So. Is it posted where we can read it?
My understanding is that it waives Obamacare for these “new legals”, so employers will have an incentive to ditch their current work force to save $3,000/yr per employee....
...and that it pardons a number of misdemeanor crimes, that have penalties of one to five years for us “old legals”....
I’d like to see for myself. Is it posted? Or are they gonna pull another “you can read it after we vote it in” on us?
Marco I had some faith in you but it is all lost now. Fold on illegal aliens today and you will fold on other issues that concern me in the future. Sad that you are just another politician.....
We don’t have an illegal alien problem. /sarc The Legislature and the Executive branch eliminated this problem by law in 1986. Promises made then to enact this legislation guaranteed that the problem would be solved forever, that there would never again be an ILLEGAL alien problem.
We trusted them then, and how has that worked out?
No legislation should be considered until the border with Mexico is secured.

Yup, I believe this is what Walmart plans on doing! I also keep hearing them say that the illegals won’t be getting obamacare, ok, what is going to happen when the illegals get sick and go to the emergency room or they want a free abortion? Are they going to be denied healthcare and Obama lovin abortions? NO, they will CONTINUE to receive “taxpayer” subsidized (no cost to them) free healthcare! They will truly be free from all of Obama’s bullchit....unlike the honest, taxpaying Americans.
Crapo Rubio now wants to sound like McShame....let him live with it. I hope Allen West challenges him at reelection time. The man said one thing while running and sold out as soon as he got to DC
