Resigned to Romney?

Yeah, kind of. Is there anything productive we can do to avoid Romney and the unmentionable one? Is there a viable 3rd-party candidate? Is there a way to end up with a convention floor fight and have Romney lose? Do we need a new party?

No and no.

There is no 3rd party candidate with any chance whatsoever of beating Obama and there will not be a brokered convention. There will be one man on the ballot that has a chance of beating Barack Obama. His name is Mitt Romney. If you want to defeat Obama, vote for him. If you want to send some kind of message or make a statement, vote for someone else and accept a second term for President Obama. But make no mistake, bury your delusions, these are your only choices.

So now what?
