I think DeMint would endorse Santorum or Perry if DeMint thought either could still win, but he doesn’t think that.
He can live with Mitt, barely, but thinks Mitt’s far too liberal to merit an early endorsement.
He loves Newt’s rhetoric but shivers at Newt’s wacky past and temper.
He likes Paul’s domestic spending ideas but is repulsed by the newsletters and Paul’s military/ foreign policy.
Or, wait. That could be me, projecting.

As for DeMint, that’s it? His long term plan is 10-15 conservative Senators who won’t chnage their mind? What good will that do? We already have 10-15 who won’t. And you need a heck of a lot more than 15 to get anything done.
By not endorsing anyone and remaining quiet DeMint has shown that he’s ok with Romney, and that Romney has his approval.. He endorsed him 2008. Nothing has really changed about Romney since then.
I’d like to see DeMint not endorse anybody so he could be the Dark Horse in Tampa - - - .
