With all that Soros money, you'd think Politico could afford an editor.

Since Nikki Haley and Christine O’Donnell, two TEA Party darlings have both endorsed Mitt Romney, and according to Michelle Bachmann, Newt is buying off TEA Party support, I would say the TEA PArty is now defunct as a political force. The term has no meaning anymore.

It’s the truth! Politico at least is speaking the truth! There’s a void for sure

Don’t worry. We’re here. You’ll feel us on November 6th of next year.

I don’t think Sarah’s absence has sidelined the Tea Party. But it has pretty much sidelined me. The more I see of the candidates, the less I feel like voting for any of them.

Rick Santorum may be the best of the bunch, but I don’t know if he has the fire in the belly needed to bet back into office after Rove and Bush pushed him to endorse Snarlin’ Arlen.

And the Tea Party certainly has lost a voice that the media found impossible to ignore.

All that energy and excitement of the Tea Party movement was just waiting to be let loose on kicking out Obama. But after the mid-terms, the whole GOP establishment, the Karl Roves, the dreary GOP House leadership, the FoxNews talking-heads, all worked together to pour cold water onto all that grassroots vigor, just to help grease the skids for their beloved boy Romney. They subtlely and not-so-subtlely trashed the Tea Party and Palin all year long. I’ve grown to despise these bastards with a white-hot passion. If they think they can depend on my lifelong pattern of exclusively voting for the GOP candidate to continue next year as if nothing happened, well, they can just shove Romney up their damned posterior!

“we don’t have the female Ronald Reagan running — and that’s Sarah Palin,”

Ain't that the truth.

“We haven’t engaged in presidential politics yet because the movement hasn’t coalesced around anybody, so we’re just sitting back and waiting,”

Actually, that is the same thing I said after Cain dropped out. First Sarah (not that she was officially in, but I thought she was, even though she said she wasn't) and I thought the world was over. Took some time, then went 100% behind Cain. Then he dropped out. I feel lost.

Hmmm, I'm zero for zero....perhaps I should get behind barry >:)

We’ve got a looooooooong primary ahead of us. If Newt is thrown out of the lead by attacks from the left (and right), and Mittens starts gaining ground, you’re going to see a MASSIVE grass roots effort get underway to convince Palin to get into the race.

The prospects for this race already look so dismal, that one wonders what’s holding her back. The call of duty ought to be louder than a fire alarm in her ears right now.
