Full Article:

Monopoly money is the root of all evil from the coin of the realm till today. Monopoly money is monopoly ™ money. Monopoly money owns the institutions of this world. Monopoly money is a tool of monopoly government despite any democratic veneer.

Don’t you think it is disgraceful for any country to borrow money ? If banks lend money to countries, are banks more powerful than countries ? Where do the banks get the money to lend to countries ? It seems to me that banks can be obviated by direct clearing circles – get rid of the middleman…..

What individual needs a government to stimulate him to be productive ? What prevents each person on this planet from offering his services to any other person ? How can an economy “overheat” – can an economy be too prosperous ? Is business not inherently steady state – always increasing the purchasing power of society over time ?

American government expenditures divided by population comes out to approximately $20,000 for every man, woman, and child in the USA per year. This includes $2.6M spent on finding out if alcohol increases a Chinese prostitute’s chances of getting AIDS and $400,000 spent on finding out why gay Argentinian men engage in risky sexual behavior while drunk. How can we help government do a better job ?

In 2005, the titular head of monopoly money in the USA, Ben Bernanke, said he did not see a problem in housing prices or employment. In 2007, he said mortgages are performing well. In 2007 he also said that the economy would strengthen in 2008. Does he play the same role as Josef Goebbels or Baghdad Bob ?

Prichard, Alabama has stopped sending pension checks to retirees. Camden New Jersey has laid off half its police force. Thirty-eight counties in Michigan are replacing asphalt roads with gravel. Food stamp usage is at a record 15%. Real unemployment is 23%. Real food inflation is at 33%. ShadowStats.com shows that the claimed GDP increase of 2.5% is really a decrease of 3%. Artemis Capital claims that current stock market prices are the same as 1997 when one factors in dollar depreciation. Yet the government invaded Gibson guitar to protect labor in India. Does anyone think systemic change is not needed ?

If any system, financial or otherwise, fails when any or some of its members fail, it is a terrible system. Although anything, including IOU notes, can be used as money, money is certainly grams. Whose grams you trust is your choice in the same way that you trust a jar of peanut butter has 100 grams when it says it does. I will vote for anyone that allows competition in what can or cannot be used as money, that allows competition in the price of money, and that allows money to be spent, as well as lent, into circulation. Right now Ron Paul is the only one with balls enough to call a spade a spade, but I am sure he would rejoice if others addressed this issue, because he does not consider this election to be a pandering contest. Truth is the biggest of big tents.

No doctor can heal unless he or she wholeheartedly wants to lose his or her job – because he or she envisions a world without disease. No pastor can preach unless he or she wholeheartedly wants to lose his or her job – because he or she envisions a world that is totally Conscious. No political blogger can blog without wholeheartedly wanting to lose his or her status – because he or she envisions a world with an economic system that works – the end of politics.

Have you ever seen improv music, dance, theater or comedy come together where the whole is greater than the parts ? That is a model for the world. Have you ever seen a beautiful synagogue, church, mosque, or hospital built with voluntary donations ? That is a model for the world. Have you ever participated in an open source project that created something that works well ? That is a model for the world. That’s the way It is. Whose side are you on ?
