You are correct, the left has not been working for 9 decades to take over America and mold her into their idea of progressive paradise just to give it up without a fight. But, I think they made a huge mistake - they never considered Americans would fight back the way we are and they have no plan for this.
Did the left plan for Tea Parties?
Did they plan for Conservatives to finally organize into groups that use the lefts very own tactics against them?
Did the left believe they had destroyed education to the point that Americans wouldn’t realize how unconstitutional their plans are?
Did they plan on Americans becoming uber-geeky over the Constitution? (credit Andrew Breitbart for the uber-geeky line)
Did the left think Grandmothers would stand up and pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to save their grandchildren from the certain destruction of this nation?
I do not think the left planned on Americans fighting back and their miscalculation gives us what may very well be our last chance to salvage this nation and restore her to a Constitutional Republic and to her greatness.
Well, we better stop acting too overconfident or this could happen.

Has any politician of any party ever admitted that he or his party was in trouble before an election?
They have VOTE FRAUD down pat, so they just might win big again.
They are banking on conservatives becoming OVER confident and NOT voting, thinking they do not need to vote because "We're going to win anyway. They don't need my vote."
As a long-time FReeper, and a first-time, public-office candidate, myself---and after having lost the 2000* State Party Convention caucus election for Presidential Elector by 12 votes after 40 people left the caucus early thinking I was a "shoo-in" and that I didn't need their vote---I can tell you, YOUR VOTE MATTERS!!!

Call up a LOCAL candidate and VOLUNTEER for them!!!
Your help at the LOCAL level provides "Grassroots" support for the candidates UP the ballot. Tell your friends to volunteer this year---and to make SURE to VOTE!

Your help may help Texas get a TWO-FER!! If I can get out my vote, the SAME people are likely to vote Republican for the all of the state-wide and county-wide races, and for the Republican for TX State House District 90.
With three exceptions, the physical boundaries of my race and his are almost identical, and are in THE MOST liberal part of conservative Fort Worth, TX. If HD 90 is turned Republican, it will make a TWO-VOTE difference in the State House!!! (DOWN one for Democrats and UP one for Republicans = a 2 vote difference!!!
*BTW, I made SURE over confidence did not happen again four years later and I was unanimously elected to be the 2004 Presidential Elector from TX US CD 12.

Steny himself is facing a serious challenge and is hiding in his own district.
Charles Lollar has put together a serious threat to Steny in the 5th district of Maryland.
Steny only appears down here for Democrat functions, he is scared to appear before the crowds drawn to ask him any questions.He failed to appear at an NAACP sponsored event at St. Mary’s College and even the democrat opponents lit into him.
Steny has chosen to hide in his own district while going other places showing his face at Democrat functions.
I hope he continues to hide and depend on his old pals to re-elect him while Charles Lollar walks off with victory.
Hoyer will be one of the first to go, after November.
I actually think he has a point. The Democrats are going to pull out all the stops and the have a long time to do it (50 days is a long time in politics). They can definitely close the gap if we sit on hands and just say we will win in a landslide. Obama and the Democrats are diabolical and will do anything to hang onto their power.
Just spin. He knows if anyone in Dem leadership says they’ll lose the Hpuse before it actually happens, their fundrasing revenue will crater and there’ll be a LOT of demoralized Dems who’ll just stay home on election day ... making the disaster the face even worse. Iow he HAS to saw this.
