Obviously, the progressive viewpoint of providing sex education in our schools and the movement towards handing out birth control isn't working. And why should it? We've got an educational system in this country that can't teach the basics of reading and math, and somehow, we expect that same system to do a good job in teaching sex ed?

Problem is they're not teaching sex ed in the right language.
Respectfully, I must call Bravo Sierra on “Sex Ed”.
What’s to teach?
One male & one female, married for life.
The problem with sex ed is that many view it as a “how to” class rather than what it should be teaching, abstinence, birth control, and about STDs.
What's the difference? In Spanish, ¡No! still means "No"!
lol
I don’t know anybody who took sex ed seriously. Seriously what can they teach you? You put on a condom, you get down— that’s it.
In the early eighties sex education was given like a biology course that discussed reproductive systems and the development of a baby. It was not taught as a guide. It was so fact-loaded that it was quite boring.
It needs more funding!
Give it some time, the libs will fix this. All they have to do is kill more babies and more aggressively teach gay sex to our country’s children. See, it’s going to be fine.
Well, I guess I could be wrong, I mean, I don’t think anyone can get pregnant from anal and oral sex. Heck, maybe the Global Waring scientists will figure out a way.
“Seriously what can they teach you?”
In, out, in, out, in, out........
“We’ve got an educational system in this country that can’t teach the basics of reading and math,.... “
Stupid idea, when all we really need to know is where to pick up our ‘mo money check’ from the government.
You seem out of touch with todays reality by putting forth such wild and crazy ideas that could screw things up for Obama, who is already tired from all the hard work he’s doing for all of us.
Get real...
;>)
It should be taught in Latin--most of the key terms are Latin words anyway.
The other day I heard a talk given by a local lady in her 80s to a local group. She was telling stories from her childhood, and said that after her mother and father got married, they had three children in three years. After that, she quoted her father as saying, "We found out what was causing that."
“If you spend more than a week or two on it you’re just playing with it.”
Corect.
On the other hand, think of all the deserving teacher/commies we are subsidizing with the present sex ed courses.
“I dont think anyone can get pregnant from anal -— -— sex.”
Isn’t that how lawyers are conceived?
Source: Old lawyer joke, told to me by a medical student. Meddies know who their predators are.
“you’re just playing with it.”
am i the only one who giggled at this?
I’ve got 2 sons, one in college, one still in HS. They tell me that sex ed was pretty boring. Standard biology stuff, reproductive system in male and female, gestational info, diseases, a very little birth control info (ie, there are chemical, barrier and natural methods). 17 year old says there really wasn’t much detail and it was like a chapter in a science book. Nothing titillating, no how-tos or instructions or anything graphic.
