My opinion is that Thompson’s problem stems from lack of coverage. He is “the one who is never spoken of” on the MSM.
I’m not a FRedhead but I support him over everyone else because I have researched him myself. He is getting no coverage.
Fred is leagues above Huckabee in both conservativism and ideas. I thought at one point, if forced, I could possibly hold my nose and pull the lever for Huckabee.
Until I found out how soft on criminals he is.
NO THANK YOU!
And yes, if catchy phrases and slogans is what does it for you, then I’d say you are swayed by charisma and entertainer qualities. Personally, I prefer ideas, plans and platforms.
Which is where Thompson has Huckabee beat hand over fist.
Your free to attack and can dismis my insight. I think you may be missing my point however. It’s about a broader appeal than you or I. By the way Fred IS an Entertainer.
You are very thinned skinned, aren’t you. Nobody “attacked” you....I explainted why I disagree and why I believe your judgement and probably your motivation, is in error.
Yes, Fred was an actor for a time. He was also a US Senator, Chairman of the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Watergate counsel, and author of the report, Government on the Brink, (Volume 1 and Volume 2) detailing the waste, fraud, and abuse of federal agencies as well as the management challenges facing the incoming Bush Administration. To name just a few of his other accomplishment, there are of course, many more.
Finally, we are just now about to begin the process of seeing just what appeal Fred has to the voters. These ridiculously early campaigns may well prove to count for little to nothing for those who started campaigning on November 6, 2006.
In fact, I hope it proves to be just that.
There he goes again.
Thank you for this great news!
I feel much better now.
It certainly makes more sense than Huckabee’s surge.
I think Fred’s bus trip will be a huge success, especially after King’s endorsement today.
Don’t forget that Minnesota and California Right-to-Life Committees endorsed Fred today, as well!

Huck does have executive experience as a governor, is an approachable person and a moral man, so I am not surprised people support him. But I don’t know why Fred is any more qualified to be Prez than Michelle Malkin, Rush or Anne Coulter.
