Well Done Mock Election Site
Dave Leip's Atlas of Presidential Elections ^

Posted on 05/28/2004 5:37:32 AM PDT by csmith476

This is an excellent online Presidential Election Atlas site that I'm sure many Freepers already know about. Anyway, the guy who runs the site has created a very well done mock election where you can register and vote.

Here's the site for those who'd like to cast a vote:

http://www.uselectionatlas.org/

Also, there is a prediction page where you can forecast the presidential election state by state. Most interesting is the prediction home page which displays the median average of all the predictions. I confess I check it out several times a day. Really neat stuff.

They show the results of people voting from Canada, Europe, ad the World. No surprise, Kerry wins from these 'constituents' in a landslide. Kerry always supports foreign interests over America's, so he is the rest of the world's wet dream. That alone should tell Americans everything that they need to know.

What surprised me was the participation in Leip's Mock Election from outside the US.
It is time for everyone to GO VOTE at this site.

Yeh - the results are pretty bad for Bush. Looks like the Dems have the energy to vote this time around hehe. I mean jeez - we're getting clobbered. But then, it gives me some hope on the prediction part of the site. Obviously the peeps going to Dave's site are heavily skewed Dem, so if the Dem population is only forecasting a squeeker victory for Kerry, then we're probably doing much better than that in reality.

I am really thankful for Gerry Dale's site - "Dales' Electoral College Breakdown 2004"
http://home.comcast.net/%7Egerrydal/
I think it gives the best picture of the pushes and shoves from state to state. Kerry has had an EC lead there recently, but it just shifted back to Bush.
Gerry's analysis is excellent.

I made my small token to your tip box! If Bush wins I might be able to afford some more!

Dale's site is indeed excellent, thanks for the link! I take my hat off to you as well, Dale. Very well done. And, for what it is worth, I agree with your analysis with the exception of PA / MI. I've always seen MI as more Dem than PA, but I see your point about the parallel movement within polls.

I would also like to say thanks for your efforts. Not a day goes by without checking your site for updates. I have been studying the polls your report, and have been shocked to see the majority are rigged for the Democrats.
